Re: Fantasy Bundesliga
Joel Pohjanpalo 8.0m is a good pick if only his idiot manager lets him play.
Last season he played 182 minutes in Bundesliga and scored outstanding six goals - the best goals per minutes ratio in top 5 leagues of those players who scored at least three goals in 2016-17. He is an absolute goalscoring monster, he seriously scores when he wants.
Last season he didn't get much gametime because that useless shitty Javier Hernandez played and needed 1815 minutes to score 11 goals in Bundesliga. He was totally useless and I think he was their number one forward only because he has a sexier football name.
Many people here are tempted by Hernandez but I have my reservations because of his shitty last season - at least compared to Pohjanpalo who scored anytime his stupid coach let him play.

I gave it a deeper look earlier, and there are a few interesting differencesTheBigLewandowski wrote: ↑01 Aug 2017, 10:25 Is there a FISO league BFM?
Also is the concept pretty similar to FPL here?
same XV roster 2553 structure
150m budget, didn't see a players list (you might need to register) but I see Lewa & Auba priced 15m, and price can fall down to 1m (no 4.0 baseline)
lineups: ambiguous "One player from each position is on your bench" so 4-4-2 only???
talks about Manual subs (as in Euro Fantasy), autosubs implicit? Or do you have to deal with them manually, only subbing in benchers yet to play'
"You cannot transfer players during the match weekends." only when there's no match... something some posters wished in FPL
3 Free Transfers every week, can't do more, so no hits (and no carry over?)
but "Keep on the lookout for wild card week(s)" so they're like "surprise" bonuses? a gameweek is announced as WC week, so unlimited FT for all?
or maybe not unlimited, just more: "when you will be able to transfer more players in and out of your squad"
"any changes you make will save automatically. There is no save button." bliss for those who always forget to confirm, nightmare for tinkerers
Price changes based on PERFORMANCE, not on transfers! that's quite a difference
from +/-0.2 to +/- 0.4 with ranges relative to the week pts average for the position
-0.1 reserved to DNP/RC -- yes, every non-playing player will fall 0.1m every week!
"There is no limit to the number of mini-leagues you can join."
doesn't talk about H2H
https://fantasy.bundesliga.com/page/scoring_rules
there's no BPS, normal scoring is extended to some categories which only count for Bonus in FPL
notable: your team must keep CS even if you get subbed out, to get CS points - it was like that in Fantasy WC too

I intend actually to start an own mini-league for the upcoming season and invite players from transfermarkt.de, but I'll plan to stick it together with interested players from FISO (OIEIAO is one of them). Hopefully I can gather up to 5 players.
he anticipated this BFM topic by a few daysmogwai wrote: ↑27 Jul 2017, 22:23 The Bundesliga Fantasy Football game for the upcoming season 2017/18 is ready now!

The most important in short:
- You need a squad consisting of 15 players
- You need to choose 11 players for every gameweek
- During a gameweek you can change players and/or captain (but probably not formation)
- You have a budget of 150 millions, prices change on a performance based calculation
- Every GW you have three free transfers available, if not used you lose them
I've created a mini league called "FPL Experts".
The new Bundesliga season starts on 18th of August 19:30 GMT.
of course, being Swiss, he linked to the original site in german
He registered and created a League, so he can test and check all features, and should be able to see the Players List
BTW, in the German version, there no "Bench" paragraph, it was added in the English version only
And I forgot another detail, they have no Captain, but a "Star-player" instead, only yielding 1.5 points bonus instead of double, and you can manually change it to one who's yet to play that week (as it was I think in Ultimate too)

I created a mini league called "FPL Experts". Six managers are in so far, but no one from FISO (except myself).
I'm quite sure, it didn't exist in English before. I played it last season and the new season is online since 27th of July (in German).

I will only care about the team set up, once the FPL season has started, no time before.

The first game is on 18th of August (Bayern Munich vs. Bayer Leverkusen) 19:30 GB Time (so deadline for the game will be approximately at 18:30 GMT).
There are 9 players now in the mini league "FPL Experts" I've created.
As I can see the FPL results of all the members as well, I had the idea to create a little sidegame (combiniation Bundesliga + FPL), if there don't join to many other managers. More to follow later on this (maybe)...
The strongest of the league seems to be "The MB180 Effect". He nearly reached a top 100 rank last season after having been in the top 10 for a while. Myself "Crew Andrew" was on rank 1'673 in the end. Unfortunately I assume, we can't see the squads of the other managers, but maybe I could figure out some line-ups by asking them.

Fantasy Bundesliga 2018/19
Ready for a new season of Bundesliga?
The game for the new season is online:
https://fantasy.bundesliga.com/
The new season starts on 24th of August at 19:30 (BST).
There is a mini-league I set up last season called "FPL Experts". You're welcome to join!
Last season there were 27 managers in.
If you want, please note your FISO nick name and team name in the list below. If there
are more than 8 entries, I'll plan to do updates during the season (together with users
from transfermarkt.de). You're also allowed to join the league without entering your
name in the list. In that case, we probably d'ont know who you are.

Thanks for joining!
There are 39 in the league now incl. I would guess about one third inactive members from last season. I'll kick them out after GW4, if they effectively seem to be inactive (zero points, players from last year etc.).
Have a good season, I plan to post some updates from time to time.
In the meantime, FF Scout discovered there is an official Fantasy Bundesliga game, as they published a "A Guide to Bundesliga Fantasy Football" article today.
