Bloody hell

Driven in convoy or not, this is scary. What about if a lorry gets a puncture ? What about if they are hacked into ?

If I saw one of these convoys I'd stay very far behind or try and stay very far in front.

No way. Not for me.

Phew. Travelled on the M6 in Cumbria today and didn't get taken out. My luck was in.

Think it was only last week that Google admitted blame for the first time in a crash involving one of their driverless cars....

There's already the ability to "string" lorries together - up to 30+ at a time - to save fuel. It's called a train.
