5 managers had Defoe and 4 of them won. Kid Kongo being the unlucky one. He was overpowered by the impressive Zarch.

Birchy, Erased Citizen and Andi Jones all could feel aggrieved. All posted decent weekend scores (without the aid of a 5 goal striker) and they all got turned over.

Someone with lady luck on their side is Goldenshilling. He would have lost against the other 8 managers. Lucky for him he was playing the transferless Chrisharry (who had only 6 starters this weekend).

EC turns in a Rooney inspired 94 (second highest of the weekend)... much to Gazwood's disappointment. Kid Kongo also relies on Wayne to beat Andy Jones' commendable 56.

The defeats for ChrisHarry and Andy leave them rooted on 0 points, whilst Zarch and Goldenshilling have maximum points.

Phase 2 - Week 6
Owing to the extraordinary weather (and the fact only 2 games have been played, this weeks La Log fixtures (league and cup) have been cancelled.

Rescheduling it is tricky so here is the solution;

We will use the midweek fixtues at the end of the month.
However - 4 teams dont have a game (Man U, Hull, Man City and Stoke).
Therfore we will use the Carling Cup game between Man U and Man C (from the 19th). Hull and Stoke will not have a fixture

I have tried to look at other possibilities (using FA Cup games etc) but cannot see a fairer alternative.

Stoke will possibly be the biggest hit, but I cant imagine many being affected by Hull's lack of fixture.

Karrde has a comfortable victory whilst Goldenshilling wins by the narrowest of margins against Zita.

Zarch's promotion hopes are all but ended thanks to a rare draw against Birchy.

Whilst it would take a minor miracle, Chrisharry could yet see off relegation. Pointless for the season so far, his next opponent is fellow struggler Kid Kongo.
