I dont like to snitch , but the Doc seems to have made about 9 team changes? i thought we were playing sun rules and made 3 changes?

Demorgoth wrote:Thought I was doing good until I saw Mistercut's team. Guessing at the 7+ scores,

Howard vs Cech = -1 vs +5+3
Bale vs Vidic = 0 vs 0
Carra vs Carra = even
Evra vs Distin = +3 vs +5+3
Dawson vs Ingma = tommorrow vs 0
Ronaldo vs Fabregas = +3 vs +2
Elano vs Elano = even
Hleb vs Barry= +3+2 vs 0
Lampard vs Lampard = even
Torres vs Doyle = 0 vs +3
Bellamy vs Mpenza = today vs 0

Mistercuts 11 points ahead at my estimation, with just Bellamy playing for me today. Guess I need 2 goals from him, or a goal and a MotM to stand a chance. Close either way, so at least my goal difference won't take a huge hit.

Madchester could do me a big favor by beating Dr Bell as I should get the extra 4th spot if he does, else it looks like I'm heading for a final day slip out of the premiership :(
don't forget Bale tomorrow for you, he has every chance of scoring one way or another. I'm hoping Madchester has done me a favour too

Oops, yeah you're right about Doyle. Only watched the highlights to guess Ronaldo's points, but since that's probably what the scorers do to, I could be right heh. I said the 7+s were guesses anyway. Looks like 20 points to make up, so Bellany needs to score a hat trick in the final half hour lol

Nah, Monday matches don't count I don't think

On the plus side though, at first glance it looks like Madchester's Toure and Rooney are gonna help beat Dr Bell by a decent enough margin for me to hold onto 4th unless Karde has a big win - then it just depends on finishing goal differences in the other groups

Oh yes they do
Only the weekend scores will count.
For the purposes of this competition, Saturday to Monday (inc) will count as the weekend.

oh, cool - missed that second part. Bellamy scores in injury time, hopefully did enough to get 7+ too, meaning I'll need 10-15 from Bale to be in with a shot. Not dead yet!

My transfers actually came off for once , Doc i think transferred OUT Rooney?
So may have done enough for a championship place, just a couple of players in the remaining games to come.
Haven't checked your team yet rainycat....no excel on this computer.

Out - Cole, Ashton, V Persie
In - Bale, Fabregas, Bellamy

We'll see tomorrow if you've done enough

As long as we show some decorum on this thread, we should be okay ?
I hope

Okay my battle with Alchemist is very tight & am looking for Given to either not play tonight or concede a couple.
here's hoping

Crompton, Faruge, good luck
Yep, I'll be hoping to hold onto top spot with a nice win in the last fixture.
Not so fast Crompton!
I've already told my boys that if they don't perform in this one then they're in for a whippin'........and if they do perform....a spanking off mrs bell just like birchy got this week!

Good luck man ~ transfers should make it interesting!
I think my Clichy / Richards / Lampard / Rooney combo may well have swung it for me.
I think Rooney has possibly defaeted my entire team on his own Crompton!!

Yeah I'm a div , I was looking at Doc Bell's team.
So after that I think I am slightly ahead with Keane for me and Bale for you to come. Reckon I'm safe now for a championship place.

by my reckoning you need 27 points from Dawson and Bale tonight to beat me this week Demorgoth, though not quite ending my Prem hopes due to other results going my way. With Madchester seemingly having trounced the (male) Mariner (cheers Mad, top timing, sorry drbell) can't wait to see how all the divisions have panned out, and if I get to play with the big boys oooerr. Doyle two goals from off the bench, good lad!

63 pts so far, with Given, Bale & Keane tonight. That should be enough to squeeze into The Championship.

Playing Karrde this week for the mid table mediocrity cup :)

If ive added it up right, then im 39-31 up on Takeshi Kovacs.
Poor scoring from my worst sun team this season - doesnt help that i took out Rooney!!

TK with Berbatov to come, both of us with Keane.

I make it 25, but basically about the same and it comes down to 1 thing - I need Spurs to keep a clean sheet at the very least to keep my goal difference up. Probably a bit much to hope for a goal or two plus MotM from either defender as well though.

Got a sneaking suspicion Zimm is gonna come from behind and grab the 4th spot place with a massive final day win over Mrs Bell with his toure/elano/kuyt/rooney combo though

Also looks like the four bottom JMF teams won this week, shaking the table up a bit. I'll be listening to the game with interest. (And cheering on Owen/Martins/Smith)

Think I'll need a couple of goals / MOM from Berbatov to clinch it.....doesn't look likely!

Qadesh takes a comfortable win in a low scoring match - although I only scored 19 points my goal difference did not take too much of a hammering... a few of you may be hoping Berbatov scores a hatrick tonight
