wow - tonights games are gonna be very interesting...
I have 8 points I think, versus andi_jones' 2 points with Milner & S Taylor playing tonight.
So I really want both sides to score, without Milner of Taylor scoring or playing well.
The missus has -2 points I think, with Hanneman to play, versus a fixed 6 points from justboy.
So she needs a Reading cleansheet and a 7/10 for Hanneman for the draw...

Cheers Andi..... and sorry gents for abandoning you without a score update. I've check the scores I'd got and the matched your Andi. Thanks a lot.
So just 2 weeks to go. Anyone of the top 4 have a chance of winning the title, although the unbeaten Mrs Bell is going to take some stopping.
Meanwhile, yours truly is looking for his 1st win in 5 (I'm still harbouring thoughts of a European Cup spot though)
Whoa betide the shame of whoever loses to me!
After last weekends showing, I'll keep the taunting down to a minimum.
Although with just 61 between the 8 of us over the weekend, I dont think anyone has too much to brag about!
Week 6
andi_jones v Zimmerman
CBB v Dr Bell
Miles v Mrs Bell
Justboy v Karrde

Although still top oif the table, Mrs Bell is no longer sitting comfortably.
A weekend defeat to Miles means there is now just 1 point separating them in what is now a 2 horse race.
CBB falling by the wayside in the title race. Despite an impressive 39 this weekend, it was dire luck that he was up against Dr Bell (the only manager he could have lost to (and did)).
So Dr Bell does his best to leave Zimmerman in the mire at the foot of the table. Fortunately, some charitable scoring by Andi means Zimmerman romped to his second victory of the season. A UEFA Cup spot is still on the cards
Obviously boosted by the monumental victory over Zimmerman last weekend, Karrde was inspired to victory again this weekend. A 31-22 win leaves Justboy perilously close to the foot of the table and a summer of ridicule.

Final Table

Miles 7 5 0 2 149 124 15 25

Zimmerman 7 3 0 4 110 131 9 -21
Karrde 7 3 0 4 149 176 9 -27
Justboy 7 2 1 4 134 135 7 -1
So congratulations to Miles.
He comes through on the final straight to overturn Mrs Bell who has led for the first 6 weeks of the season.
Lowest scorer of the league is pre-season favourite Andi. A measley 105 points for him.
Dr Bell must be ruing his luck. Far and away the top scorer in the league (171) but with 181 scored against him, he obviously faced the wrong people at the wrong time.
FISO veteran Karrde comes unstuck and settles 4th place (or second bottom) depending on how you look at it
Overall, it has to be said though, that we were all pathetic!
On average, just 20 points per manager per weekend.

gutted!
such a better goal difference than my nearest rivals too.
in my defence this was the team i entered into the sun but i didnt make any transfers to it.
this was my first season in dream team and i really enjoyed it. i feel i have grown as a manager and cant wait to prove myself next season.
just bring it.

Wasnt sure if this has been well received or not.
I think the general mood around the Sun thread has been low.
But hopefully a full season with fresh teams will give us all something to look forward to next season.
Of the guys that entered, would you be up for a full season next season?
Anyone else fancy it?
I think it gives a different slant and something else to play in parallel to the normal game. So at least when one is inevitably over by November we still have FISO bravado to play for.
As champ, Miles can have the honour of naming the tournament if he fancies playing.

Well received, by me. Thanks for your efforts Zim.
I'm not sure how a 20 team league would work, if your playing just full weekends, there's not 38 Full Premiership weekends in the course of a season. Add to that the postponements for various reasons, cup games etc;
Maybe it would be better, to limit it to say 14 teams and pick 28 game weekends carefully.
Cheers
Andy

Hi Guys,
Have been reading through this thread and it has given me a laugh and think that I would like to be in it but have never done a screen shot before. I won the Daily Mirror FF last year and said that I would not do the Sun, but I would enter one team if I joined your league. I would definitely be up for if it is OK.
Regards
Darren.
