Do the players themselves get self conscious?

Do the footballers themselves play this game?
Do they become self conscious everytime the season starts worrying if anyone would picked them in their fantasy teams? What about the price being given to them in fantasy...do they get butthurt and stuff if they are lower priced to their team mate?

am i posting in the wrong section?

This, to be honest, has nothing to do with fantasy football. Either way, if you were a footballer, you might play fantasy football as a bit of fun but you would never take it seriously. They have much more to worry about than their price and how many people have selected them in a game...

i've wondered when a manager substitutes one of my guys after 59 minutes if it's because one of his rivals in his fantasy league has said player.

I know this is a slightly smaller scale but we are actually part of a cricket fantasy league as we play a decent standard, I can assure you it's mentioned on the pitch quite a lot but it in no way affects how we play the game, so in a short answer I'd say Yes.
