Not sure if anyone else has noticed but Sky Bet are offering odds on which players will be the Man of the Match according to FSB's Fantasy Football scoring (see details below).

You can drill down on previous matches and teams to see the scoring and results. Alternatively if you play Metro Fantasy Football it's the same scoring there as FSB also supply the back end for the Metro's game this season.


'FSB Points Scoring

The betting Markets are based on FSB Points. FSB Points are an objective measure of a footballer's performance based on their participation in each game and are the first performance measurement system where players performances can be directly compared against one another regardless if they are a striker, midfielder, defender. Even the goal keeper occasionally turns in the best performance in the match. FSB Points are awarded to (and taken away from) players for their attacking play, defensive play, appearance on the pitch, and fouls.

The full point formula is displayed below:

Hat trick bonus: 25

Assist: 10

Penalty miss: -10

Completed passes in the final third: 1

Save: 2

Penalty Save: 25

Clean Sheet (per 10 minutes)

Named in the starting eleven: 15

Brought on as sub: 5

Bonus per 10 minutes played: 1

Sky Bet Fantasy Premier League Man of the Match Bets terms:

* All bets are settled in accordance with the ratings generated by FSB and any subsequent changes will not count. The result given immediately following the completion of the match will be deemed as official.
* For each match we will quote a selected group of players only. Other players will NOT be quoted on request.
* Bets taken on man of the match will be void if the player does not play.
* Bets taken on man of the match will stand if the player is substituted or does not start but subsequently does play in the match as a substitute. '
