So does anyone know what the craic is then ?
Rule 4 of the T and C's clearly states :
4 . The Game is not open to employees of Fantasy League Ltd or associated companies, their relatives, agents or agents' relatives.

As there is no prize for the minileague I don't suppose it matters - I imagine they SJames lot are using it as a office cash league.

You're right it probably doesn't matter, but it mattered enough for them to make a T and C and they should bloody well abide by it !pottster wrote:Shrews wrote:How come the Stan James teams get to enter. That can't be right surely ?

Fair play to the guy. Hope he keeps his nerve instead of tinkering to stay ahead. There's plenty playing the game who know what they're doing, so hopefully he's one of them !jonnyboo1989 wrote:

Re: Stan James Fantasy Football (FREE) - £10k 1ST PRIZE
judging by the scores, this Stan James version is easier to win than OFL...
usually a free game is not very fun due to massive participants... but in this case, the free game is far easier... and with EQUAL prizes? wow
wish i joined the SJFL...

Re: Stan James Fantasy Football (FREE) - £10k 1ST PRIZE
I don't think its as simple as saying this game is easier - just give it a month or three and you will find that the better manager will be making their way to the top if they havent already got off to a good start.
It's a relatively small field and will contain some novice managers who may well get off to a great start but will drop back into the pack - so it may appear at this stage that 'this game is easy' to some - its easier to hit the leaderboad with a lucky/good start in a small field.

Re: Stan James Fantasy Football (FREE) - £10k 1ST PRIZE
but if it's the same game, than the leaderboard will dictate which game is easier.
the points will reflect that.

Re: Stan James Fantasy Football (FREE) - £10k 1ST PRIZE
I don't really get your point - a game is only as easy as the standard of the players in the comp unless its a more of a lottery style game (like the sun for example).Kdub wrote:but if it's the same game, than the leaderboard will dictate which game is easier.

So are you saying that the OFL has a better standard of manager and bigger field? - then yes this game should be a bit easier to do well in.

I think it is fair to say I am higher up the league table with a similar points total in this game than other ofl based games.
