.....and don't you just hate it when following a match you look towards your next fixture only to realise that the season is over and you didn't pick your team accordingly and haven't trained for the change report!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta be generally happy with this to end a public season with:

Image

Yeoman is annoying - he keeps getting injured (and no he hasnt got the fragile SQ), hence only DV 12

Palinha was an expensive mistake - blinded by the light bulb SQ again and bid far too high

Other than that really happy with the way this is shaping up now - lets see what this CR brings and how strong the division I've just been promoted into looks before making any decisions though

haha - well if I can keep plenty of AFs at 17 and 18 all season then I won't complain about DV=AF too much

Git

I think I'll be cutting my losses with him after the CR - stick him on the TM for whatever I can get and don't waste another penny trying to bring him up to a standard he'll never reach.

Judging by a couple of similar players on the TM now about 1.5m (less than half what I paid)

As a 19/5 it's only a few hundred grand less - better to cut him adrift now I think and spend time and money on a real prospect - and that's assuming he jumps at all, on 14 DV that's no guarantee...

Bah - dropped back into one of the toughest D6s in the whole setup. With 9 team skill bars I'm joint second weakest, when a flick around some of the other D6s show me that almost anywhere else I'd be in the top 2-3, and in many places I'd be a skill bar or two clear of the next best team...

Ah well i suppose this means the 40% opposition skill level of ME will make DV easy as long as I can keep form high.

rate this team, division 6:42 - reckon I'll be mid-table team - what do I need to do to progress this team? e11m in bank.

Always struggle with 2nd keeper - is this one strong enough to work with??

My 2 Scottish cent’s worth:-
Sell Bray
Sell Eastwood, Lange and Billingham
Sell Whittenberg and Raman
Buy an old Defender and mid both around 32/12 and a mid 16/4.

liking it - cheers both, it's a team in progress, and should be decent in a few years...... :|

question though - why Billingham over Arnott? looking at the sq's I'd rather sell Arnott .....

You'll get more for Billingham and Arnott hasn't been injured despite that injury SQ. You know he's not a Darren Anderton those buying won't?

surprisingly both valued at 3.9m - now, if I go to sell, it automatically comes at at 783k - what should I set this to?

That is the lowest you can sell for. Bit like ebay you can set your own starting bid. Personally I'd start Billingham low, he will fetch a tidy sum with those SQ's. Over his eval I reckon.

Can't sell either Lange or whittenberg as they both want to end their career .....
Stuck Billingham in as minimum and already got offer of £2.5m with a good few days left! :D
purchased 32/12 mid, offer in for 31/12 def 8-)
how expensive are 16/4 mids???

Make sure you evaluate the 16/4's. Would hate for you to pay over the odds for a misclassified 16/3. Also don't worry too much about the players compatibility at the age of 16 (or 17 , 18) as the younger the player the quicker their compatability improves.
