New blood
Thought it would be handy with a thread to inform about and discuss new
player introduced to the system.
Feel free to drop a note about rumours and confirmed players/coaches.
Please only state confirmed when they are actually introduced to the game.
The rumours I've seen so far.
N Vidic - CB - Manchester U
N Maniche - MF - Chelsea
A Riera - MF - Manchester C
T Haapala - MF - Manchester C
J Kromkamp - FB - Liverpool (Josemi - FB - Villarreal)
Many of these are more or less settled put not introduced yet.

When are they likely to add the new players (from past players experiences)? Ive noticed there have been very little transfers so far this month.
I was amazed Camara didnt plummet after two non-scoring games and him off to the African Nations Cup soon - does everyone save their transfers for the new players?
Oh, and for the list
Y Katan -S- West Ham
S Elliot -MF- Fulham
D Agger -CB- Liverpool

I dont know about that - by that logic, Kromkamp shouldnt have risen that much because its unlikely he'll get a lot of games ahead of Finnan. Yet he's been the biggest riser (Im guessing because of his lower price tag). Im not sure people look into these things too much - one of the reasons its diffiuclt playing the market when everyone else makes a transfer you thought was really ill-advised.
Agger I reckon will be playing quite a few first team games before too long - especially against quicker players where Hyypia struggles. Rafa does like to rotate his team to fit the opposition, and we'll see some of that with the CBs too.

Kromkamp was only 7m which I think made him good value and he's relatively match fit. I had a quick scan trough the leaderboard and could only find one team with Agger in. That's enough indication for me.Johnee wrote:I dont know about that - by that logic, Kromkamp shouldnt have risen that much because its unlikely he'll get a lot of games ahead of Finnan. Agger has gone up nearly 200k by 3.30 on a friday. That is good going I think. Also, important to remember that there are three FB competing for two FB positions (Cole, Kromkamp, Evra), but only two CB for up to three CB positions (Vidic, Agger). Finally, I would take advice on who will rise the most with a pinch of salt (yes, I have just bought Agger, and I bet I can guess who is your teams demo and johnee )

agger-don't
I think its a case of agger-don't rather than agger-do.
He is not match fit, won't play much and for a player who can only go up has gone up hardly anything. Kronkamp probably won't play much either but was the first to appear and every one jumped on the bandwagon.
The rollercoaster element of the demand in this game means that everytime Agger is rested his value will drop, likewise for Hyypia, for me, both players are not an option anymore as you'll end up losing too many transfers. I call it the drogba effect. Up one week, down the next, the demand curve is like a yo-yo. You need players who will play nearly all the time, especially as demand slows down as the season goes on.

F Sinama-Pongolle (Striker) moves from Liverpool to Blackburn on loan till the end of the season. With Blackburn's injuries to Dickov and Bellamy he might go straight into the side.
Also spotted Birmingham have snapped up DJ Campbell from Brentford who they are hoping will 'mix' up some goals to fight off relegation.
