Re: Texaco Championship Fantasy Football 2009/10
I've noticed this value of 0.0 as well. However, I believe it's just an 'on-screen thing' as if you try and take advantage by selling players valued at 0.5 to buy in expensive ones, it doesn't let you, and actually takes your 'proper' value, as opposed to what it says on the screen.
(For those of you playing the Sky FF competition, it's happened on here as well).
As for points updates, I don't imagine for 1 minute that it will happen during play. It'll probably be an over-night update, in the same way that many of the other FF sites work.

Re: Texaco Championship Fantasy Football 2009/10
Not sure if it is updating or just gone t1ts up.....?!
Regarding transfers:
Currently says transfers are unavailable
Says transfers can be made before the start of any match, so presumably between games when there's an early ko is allowed?
Captain changes are only allowed before the start of a gameweek (Tues to Mon)
If you transfer your captain out, will the new player assume captaincy, even in the middle of a gameweek, or do you play with no captain?
Why can't I make transfers now for todays games?
I've looked at the rules and T&Cs but can't find answers.

Re: Texaco Championship Fantasy Football 2009/10
You can change your captain before the first match of a game week (a Fantasy League week runs from Tuesday to Monday), which will usually be 15:00 BST/GMT on a Saturday, except when there are midweek matches. Captain changes will then be disabled until the start of the next game week. In addition, you can only transfer the player chosen as your captain out of your team at the same times as mentioned above.

Can you accept me, hopefully the supporting of Sheffield Utd might give me more chance in this than the Premier League !!

Thanks, but I read that too.... I don't understand it though?
'The times mentioned above' are before the start of any particular match aren't they?
So, can you transfer your captain out before a game starts and how does that fit in with the gameweek rule?
What have I missed?
I see transfers are now enabled again, but no points update yet.
Also, I'm in the FISO league, but all I get when clicking on the Private League link is the page to create/join a league....?

Re: Texaco Championship Fantasy Football 2009/10
Jester I understand it as you get one chance per game week for your captain, with no option to change the selected player, till the new week.
Not sure if its a bad or good twist to the game
Your league Team name shows under your players table.

Re: Texaco Championship Fantasy Football 2009/10
Here's the Fiso Texaco Top 5 after week one, we are currently the 8th overall best league.
Manager Team Name
Out of my league
Forever Foxes
Owl Have You Utd
championship kings
Sos,Egg+Bacon All Stars
The Bill
What a team!
super flying owls
Stuff
Also we seem to have two teams from the same manager pending geordie-glory and haway the lads . I thought it was only 1 team entry per person in this game?
In fact looking at the overall private league table, in third place there is Scott's League which has 14 teams with the same manager name
Im still getting lots of applications to join the league, but im not seeing a lot of posts from these unknown teams So post here to say which team is yours below to get out of pending limboManager Team Name Goals Assists Pts
1 Chris Younger Forever England 3 1 29
2 james page frattonender 4 1 26
3 roy williams Royal Swoop 2 1 23
4 Chris Knott Pompey Champs 3 1 22
5 Chris Spackman Glory Hornets 3 1 22

Re: Texaco Championship Fantasy Football 2009/10
They were still altering players values, right up to ko time.
I ended up being 0.4 better off. Which if i had known, i would have
brought a different player in.

Re: Texaco Championship Fantasy Football 2009/10
This game seems an absolute mess.
Tried to make a transfer this afternoon and keep getting 'Your Team is Over Budget' message even though according to my budget I have 1.125 spare!
Did some digging then found that half my team had a value different in the player list to the one in my team - one guy is even now classifed as a striker although he's in my team as a midfielder!
No point in e-mailing them as their main OFL game seems half-cocked at the moment and their focus will be no doubt there for the forseeable future.

Re: Texaco Championship Fantasy Football 2009/10
I have gained £0.6m to play with
Maybe they felt sorry for me having two non-playing WBA defenders? What is their defence, anyway?
Or maybe the disappearing Ledley assist? How come Wheater only got 3 points?
