What ???tclist wrote:another forum
You mean there are other forums out there???
The next thing, you'll be telling me that we actually let new people on FISO, even if they haven't gone through the 'initiation procedure'. Or at least that's what happened to me, many years ago, when those people put a hood over my head so I couldn't see who they were and just told me to "brace myself". I don't know exactly what they did, but it brought tears to my eyes.

I've entered so as to contribute but have no real intention of playing.
Let me know if I am leading after October and I might reconsider.....

No, I dont KNOW that but I'm applying logic that so few have posted any support which implies to me lack of interest.X-Man wrote:You don't know that.tclist wrote: At least your trying DP which is more can be said for the majority
The more that post they've entered, the more encouragement for others to follow.

My comment was made on the simple basis that you can't assume that because people haven't posted, they haven't entered or perhaps more importantly tried to enter but failed because of error messages.
That may or may not be rocket science.

Re: Cancer Research FF Free to enter
To be fair, at this point of the season, so many people are engrossed in getting advice on picking their squads these kinds of threads are easily missed. Maybe admin could put this down as a global announcement. I had error messages on a similar fantasy league site yesterday, both seem to be working fine today.X-Man wrote:My comment was made on the simple basis that you can't assume that because people haven't posted, they haven't entered or perhaps more importantly tried to enter but failed because of error messages.

I also had problems with the site yesterday and last week. It's not the most sophisticated web-programming I've ever seen.

Re: Cancer Research FF Free to enter
Indeed. I entered a team several days ago but didn't feel the need to tell everyone about it. However, just to keep tclist happy, I have an announcement to make:X-Man wrote:My comment was made on the simple basis that you can't assume that because people haven't posted, they haven't entered or perhaps more importantly tried to enter but failed because of error messages.
