Quote of the Week

I nominate Shawpower for 'Pundit of the Week'. Any other contenders?

Can I be pundit of GW22. Before it I wrote:

"Henry to score amazingly well."

Then he scored 23 points. :D

Obviously, this is far better than anything anyone else said, including UmExcuseMe who wrote:

"You have to pick Henry every time Arsenal play Middlesbrough, because the way McClaren's team plays means that Arsenal is always likely to whup them by 3 or 4 goals. "

Since they scored 7, he was way out

(by the way I'm joking)

Hell, yes, why not? :)
And if we are self nominating ....
It may have only been a glitch, but AR did conceed 3 last home game (WH) and their defensive injury woes haven't improved much since, so Nolan may be in with a better chance of a decent score than Davis, although I suspect BW will concede, too.
[Bolton thread, Fri. 10th].
If only I'd listened to myself!

I think the most inspired punditry of the season was whoever it was that suggested Todorov would score in Week 17. This game turned out to be the only one that he actually managed to score in all season, and the only game he has played for more than 45 mins!
