Looks pretty good Stevie, and I can't see too much deviation from that with all the other FHs.

Re: GW29 Free Hit
Leno (Fabianski)
Cresswell Tierney Dallas Reguilon (Veltman)
Aubameyang Raphinha Trossard Bale (Lingard)
Kane Bamford (Maupay)
Above assumes Son is out. Bamford may make way if not fit, maybe for Antonio.
TBH though, I’m just not bowled over by the above.
In addition, I can already field 9 if Son and Bamford are fit, and have 2 FTs to make 11, so really not sure if I want to play FH. My 9 quickly becomes effectively 5 though if the above two are not fit, and if Struijk doesn’t play and Hojbjerg blanks which is likely given how deep he sits, whilst my 2FTs to get to 11 will involve taking out a big hitter and I’m not sure I’d want to keep any of the Arsenal, Brighton or West Ham players I don’t already have (maybe Auba at a push, but is he about to have a run on the bench?).

Re: GW29 Free Hit
Re Son; injury might not be as bad as feared, with an outside chance of making the Villa game. My instinct is that he won’t play Villa, with Spurs hoping that that has some effect on dissuading South Korea from playing him in the IB too, though obviously they’ll have their own medical experts.

Re: GW29 Free Hit
I'd pick Trossard or Groß. Newcastle would also have to step out of their "bus" sooner or later, even more so when facing one of their direct competitors. Trossard usually looks good, and Groß is on set pieces and penalties as well, I believe.
Not just because he has Trossard, but I prefer Spreadsheet's team the most from what I've seen, although I'd pick find a way to get Sanchez in goal.

Re: GW29 Free Hit
For those not playing it, what are you holding on for? do you anticipate at least one more decent double gameweek? I can't decide whether to use it now and use my two FT + next transfer to shape up the squad for GW30 and beyond or save it in the hope there will be a good DGW where players actually have a good chance of playing twice.

You can't. If you play the FH your 2 FTs are lost.jonhoggy wrote:I can't decide whether to use it now and use my two FT + next transfer to shape up the squad for GW30 and beyond...

Re: GW29 Free Hit
Course they are, you can’t make 2 transfers and then use the FH and expect your team after the FH to be updated with your 2FT’s in it.
After a FH your teams goes back to what it was the GW before and your transfers do not roll over, so you will only have 1FT

Re: GW29 Free Hit
I have 5-7 players for GW29 (7 with Son and Bamford, 5 without) and 2 FTs, but this might be the least exciting GW I can remember.
I'm looking at the FH teams above and they're all meh, due to lack of good options.
I think I'll wait for some news about Auba and just use my two FTs to bring him in and Lingard. Maybe Dallas to for -4, mainly because of his high ownership.
Looks like the only players that could hurt me this week will be Antonio, Bale and some random defender like Ben White

Re: GW29 Free Hit
I haven't been here for a while but I thought I'd updated my button sorry. I have now, I have FH and TC remaining.
So I take it the FH holders are hoping for another decent double gameweek?

Looks good Stevie. I'd maybe not captain an injury doubt and would probably play auba over regulion having watched spurs last night, but can't argue with the rest. Like the Brighton triple up at the back especially.

Bamford has been confirmed fit to play and he got 14 points in the reverse fixture and could be a great differential as hopefully others have the same thinking as what you have said right there

Re: GW29 Free Hit
Yeah, I thought that after losing to Arsenal and then they just continued the malaise and got their arses handed to them by Dynamo Zagreb. Its Spurs though, they are the most unpredictable team of the season and can easily turn it round again. And of course, this week at least, who else is there?
Has he? I'm worried he's not going to start as he wasn't pictured in training recently. could be coincidence though.

Re: GW29 Free Hit
Biesla said he fit to play and its just a pain in his Hip, so i presume there just saving him for the game.
Kane is the safest option (C) wise, but after JWP GW27 and Vardy Gw28 paid off, im going for another punt again until the run ends
