Changed a few times this morning, but eventually landed on Kane (TC), DCL (VTC)

There's no doubting one of Kane, DCL, Salah and Fernandes will have a haul when you combine the two games... but just got to hope it lands on Kane. I looked at the reverse fixtures for Kane, and he got 13pts over the two games (1G, 1A, 2BP), which you'd probably take for a TC return.

I'm calling a Kane hat trick in one of these two games - total week points = 25 .... x3 = 75

Ahhh well, here's a situation .... just checked my team and I didn't save Kane as triple captain .... not sure yet whether to be really mad or not! What's happened is, I've got Sterling (benched today) as Captain and Kane as VC.

Truly don’t understand the ‘certainty’ around Kane. Spurs could hardly be producing worse performances, and haven’t looked like running up a score on anyone since October.

Fulham and Burnley are very disciplined.

Obviously he could easily score 2 or 3, but equally he could play 60 minutes with his glass ankles in a 1-0 reverse.

Fernandes, Mr Consistent, is surely a better bet here.

I got the first part right, even if Kane should have scored a few over the two games. Problem is, every other captain option has been dire as well.

In the end I went with Salah who I entirely expect to return 2 points.

That would then make my second half of the game week without a single return: Dier 0, Barnes 0, Cancelo 2, Martinez, DCL 2, Targett 2, Dias 2, Son 3, Fernandes 3...

Triple captain Salah to get a caution and go off injured in the first half.
