I've not even looked at anything yetSirMattBugsby wrote: ↑18 Nov 2020, 14:19You have our permission to bring him in
I'm thinking Kane to Vardy with remaining FT (already done Puli to Ziyech). Project Target Fulham might be underway..

Re: GW9 Transfers
Given recent events, this transfer could also be joined by Salah -> Bruno.
Naturally, I won't be doing anything until two minutes before the deadline, just to see who gets COVID in between now and then...

Likely to do Reguilón Cresswell as part one of Operation Jib The Spuds.

Probably Salah and Kane to Bruno (c) and Vardy for a hit. Son to stay for now as I fancy he might do better than Kane against the better teams

In isolation, does Kane to Vardy for a hit really make much sense?AJD wrote:Probably Salah and Kane to Bruno (c) and Vardy for a hit. Son to stay for now as I fancy he might do better than Kane against the better teams

Re: GW9 Transfers
Ive been looking at Vardy stats recently. FYI there not that good it you look past penalties (Vardy scored i think its 5 of 8 on penalties).
He has expected goals open play at 2,57 and xA at 0,38
Compared to Ollie Watkins xG Open play 2,97 and xA 0,40.
Then if Watkins Also is on pens..
Compared to Bambford xG Open Play 5,15 and xA 0,22.
Ive had Vardy for a while now but dont think that penalty rate will continue (he also missed one against Wolves). Will keep him for next 3-4 gws because of good fixtures on the paper. After that I think of going cheap in attack and put all the efforts at mid (expext of a hop om hop of for Kane Gw 16/17 (maybe up to 19 if he looks real good)

It’s a fair point. My thinking was that Liverpool is probably not a bad fixture for Vardy at the moment and that’s then followed up by Fulham and Sheffield United. I’d rather not run with Kane and Son through the next few fixtures. Original plan was a simple Son for Bruno but Salah has bigger that.

Re: GW9 Transfers
Really torn over how to address the Salah situation. Can't decide between three options;
* Salah Fernandes (C)
* Salah Mane (C)
* Burke (5th mid bench fodder) Soucek,
benching Salah and a captaincy dilemma
Tough call.

Re: GW9 Transfers
Anyone else thinking of keeping Salah?
Klopp says he should be back in the country today, then should he get a negative test over this weekend he's eligible to play again next weekend.

If I know he'd only miss one then yes. I guess we should know before the deadline if he has really returned to the UK?Bixer wrote:Anyone else thinking of keeping Salah?

Re: GW9 Transfers
not sure what to do, quite a few fires in my team - Salah, Foden, Saiss, poor Podence, Son and Kane with difficult fixtures...
before Salah's covid news, I was pretty set on bringing Grealish and Chilwell for Son and Saiss, but I'm not so sure anymore, I think I can handle this gameweek with Bellerin, Justin, Mitchell and Taylor.
Podence has Southampton at home, so might survive another week, Foden has BUR and FUL after Spurs, so i find it difficult to remove him, even though his game time has been very limited lately.
That leaves Salah and Son. Bruno Fernandes and Grealish (-4) look like a good option, especially if I captain Bruno... or I could still do my planned move (Son & Saiss -> Grealish & Chilwell) and hope for Salah to be fit for next weekend.
any advice?

Re: GW9 Transfers
Exactly. This is the dilemma I have with my ideas ie bringing in Salah....eastcentral1 wrote: ↑20 Nov 2020, 17:03You mean Daniel Podence who plays for Wolves?
I think I might keep him in for Saints. He's had a rest, and perhaps Wolves will be good against Saints' high line.

Re: GW9 Transfers
Salah could miss two PL games, so that was enough to pull the trigger.
Personally I am using it as opportunity to get in Ziyech. I will then bring Salah back for Son.

Re: GW9 Transfers
Still got Son, Reguilon and Kane, but now that Chilwell's ok, think I'm going to roll and see if Spurs can work their magic against City. Could be a nice differential.

Re: GW9 Transfers
Well, that was a long week and a lot has changed.eastcentral1 wrote: ↑08 Nov 2020, 21:39 Will hold fire. But currently on Mitchell to a Villa defender. Save the second transfer to get rid of Jimi and Podence after Saints.
Salah will be going for either Bruno or KdB. And I may use my second free to do Son to KdB or Bruno. Seems a bit odd to have 2FTs and be going into the game week with both Jimi and Daniel Podence who plays for Wolves, but I've held them this long and may as well give them a crack v Saints. Also, I am not sure what I want to do about them (high or low), whereas I know I want KdB and Bruno is a great captain this weekend.

Re: GW9 Transfers
Sorry to say but Spurs must used have all their City-luck last year. If luck evens out over time then City is in for tennis figures
