First rule of fpl used to be do not bench Alonso.
Chilwell is the new alonso. Don’t bench him !

Have no luck picking the one to play, and the one benched often ends up with 5-9 points... Just did the comparison (bold played)

Yeah was always the plan to get him for a first bench player, so did it after the game Friday.

Plan was to play Soucek and bench Watkins, who doesn't seem to be getting anything in terms of service and is off pens too.

Benching Kane ahead of three defenders each playing away from home? It’s counter intuitive
Of those, Wolves are struggling for goals so I’d play Chilwell who also has attacking threat. I appreciate that the same could be said for both the other two but I’d play Kane ahead of them both

Thanks. The flip side is that the other teams have struggled to score too, home and away is less important now, and the defenders in question are also more than capable of attacking returns too.

Predictive maths says bench Justin. Today’s 11 pointer says, ‘Don’t’!
