Confirmation today would be great. I'm not worried about GW26 as the majority of those are set in stone imo. Hodgson practically confirmed the United game yesterday as well. Visibility on GW 27/28 today would definitely be helpful to those wildcarding.

There are key ones not set in stone though. That being Everton, S'ton. Whether they are in GW26 or not, not only makes a difference to BBoosters but it changes some transfer plans. If S'ton have a triple double, I'll get Ings. I really doubt this will happen though.

Does it make much difference in the case of Ings? His scheduled fixtures are good and the potentially added fixtures are not. So I won't be buying him for the extra fixtures.. which is why I've got him (if that makes sense Image)

Yes it's a transfer and he's not that cheap - I prefer others as he doesn't play in GW29. Watkins is someone I'd prefer to use a transfer on from GW26 for sure. And obviously Kane, if he's fit! If you are set on GW29 free hit, then Ings would be in I think but last week would have been preferable.

I already own DCL who I can easily bench this week away at Liverpool. His fixtures are decent too with 2 doubles to rearrange. I think this comes down to the squad you currently have. If he treble doubles he's in, but this is why its not a clear cut decision before we get the fixture schedule.

Because these decisions are all very close, it always comes down to your own structure, personnel and future plans. The announcements have the potential to change decisions though.

Twitter muddling up his ability to predict games with his inability to predict when they will be announced. Of course he may get both wrong but the lack of announcement doesn’t necessarily have a bearing on when the games will be played

And Neath Boy, the timing of previous announcements, I believe.

Patiently waiting for confirmation of fixtures before hitting WC25 ahead of BB26.

(Probably gonna gamble on DGW26 anyway, but would like to see confirmed fixtures).

Last hope that the embargo is 6pm.

I cannot believe they announced them at 6.31pm, absolutely incredible.

Big relief that Villa-Spurs does indeed go into BGW29, that was crucial.

Frustrating though that Villa-Everton hasn't been confirmed for GW28, though it could still go there. That will be a crucial part of whether DCL/Grealish in next week will be worth it, but we may not know before the DGW26 deadline.

Of course this was done on purpose, but not to shit on FPL managers but my thinking is this was done so to have an equal level playing field across timezones.

Premier League official announcements should have zero consideration to FPL, but this is just someone having some fun and a bit of a giggle at all the attention.

They could have done it yesterday. Clearly the managers knew about it in the press conference and partially gave it away between the lines. But I have to admit that I am happy, as it turned out as expected so far.

Very surprised this not been put into GW27 (or GW28). Can't think of a reason not to, given they pushed Leeds double with S'ton into this week, etc.

I'm cautious about getting 3 Villa for GW26 now and not too happy I kept DCL over getting Ings last week. That said, DCL's double this week looks very tasty indeed!

The way the fixtures have fallen I already have x 12 doublers (lots will be the same boat) it's just a question now of how many transfers (if any?) to tweak it.

There are all the european games next week so I'm going to try to ignore any of the inevitable price rises and just wait until next Friday to try and put together the best team possible.

Early thoughts are the City double is outstanding but which players will actually get a DGW? not many, not sure if it's worth using (wasting) transfers on City players unless something becomes clear later next week. May just stick with the three I have and roll the Pep random player selection dice.........

I like the Everton double too and already have Digne and DCL so ok there.

The big question I suppose is what to do with Kane, I'm not sure how good their double is, Burnley and Fulham both looking solid and as I already have Son would I want to double up. Leicester are in better form that Spurs and Vardy could be the better pick.

West Brom look the best of the budget picks, two home games that could see points for their players.

They are probably avoiding European nights where possible. There's a good chance that game can be played later in the season without too much disturbance.

They probably delayed releasing the fixtures to protect the casual players who wouldn't have been paying attention to all this stuff!
