Re: Covid
Personally, now West ham sold Haller and Antonio got 90 to improve fitness in the FA cup ( didn't look great tbh ) then anyone with Watkins surely has consider selling for Antonio

Re: Covid
Very true and I think Crellin did mention that if the fixture arrangement happened before Sat deadline then it would be in GW19 most likely, but if after then GW20. I think the announcement will be made prior to deadline myself, given they're talking about it now. In terms of precedence, I think FPL habits in prior seasons to this are relevant (not this season's FPL happenings, not the FA or anything else as they are irrelevant) in terms of a precedent. They have never pushed a game on the beginning of a gw as I remember, which imo would imply it'll get tagged to the end. (I have no Newcastle and only Grealish so I don't want this to happen)ajcairns wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 09:43 You wouldn't think the PL would be at all influenced in their decision timelines by the FPL GW deadlines. So if they did put the Villa Newcastle in to the FA Cup weekend it will be up to FPL to either tag it on to the end of an already ongoing GW or bring the next one forward. Forget any precedence in COVID season.

I'd want Antonio too but he's 0.1mn too expensive for me. I can't afford him.Billy Bongo wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 09:45 Personally, now West ham sold Haller and Antonio got 90 to improve fitness in the FA cup ( didn't look great tbh ) then anyone with Watkins surely has consider selling for Antonio

Re: Covid
Cue Bamford brace vs Brighton. Brighton will be more adventurous in this one than they were yesterday.

What are the chances City v Villa will be postponed again?

I think its low, Villa should get their training ground open on Saturday so unless they get new cases it should go ahead

Re: Covid
Really hurts in my ML that, few rivals with triple villa and wilson. Martinez again going to continue to haunt me.
Easy -4 for me by the looks of it: Welbeck to Watkins. Extremely risky to BB this week but whatever: it's a crap chip and covid going to ruin future BB plan I'm sure. Watkins price going up this week, just a matter of when, looking at FPL Statistics. Probably tomorrow night...

Re: Covid
So Villa do still have a double after all, huge bonus as a Martinez owner and with a likely Wilson Watkins being my transfer in.
EDIT - ignore that, obviously Newcastle now have a double too... so it's a straight Wilson vs Watkins, and the former probably has the edge despite his sides poor form?

Re: Covid
As a Newc fan, I'd say Watkins has the edge! However, perhaps not at the cost of a transfer - we don't know if Watkins will test positive in the coming days as he'd be more likely to than Wilson you'd expect.

They are all isolating and already tested ,so probably less at risk than other teams as they aren't mixing

Re: Covid
In that case, it's Wilson plus a transfer vs Watkins then. Depends what someone can do with the transfer instead.

Re: Covid
Leeds are actually an awkward case now because GW23 could be an issue. Southampton have to play Arsenal in FAC4; if they lose then Leeds/Soton would very likely go into GW23, giving both teams a new DGW.
It's enough to make you think twice about losing Leeds players right now, anyway.

Re: Covid
Yes and they have reasonable fixtures as well, the next 12 game run is above average for sure.Ruth_NZ wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 12:24 Leeds are actually an awkward case now because GW23 could be an issue. Re: Covid
I think there's a reasonable chance they pop twice into GW26 as well giving them a lovely DGW, should Fulham get past Burnley in the cup. We'll know that in 10 days.

Re: Covid
It would be extremely helpful to get some news on Martinez, Grealish, Watkins etc. before the deadline.
