What's happened to the FPL game?

Post by gray821 »

For the last few days haven't been able to see my team, make transfers or see leagues. Only thing I can do is 'pick team' which is asking me to pick a team from scratch.

Have I missed an announcement or something about the FPL game? Is everyone seeing the same or is it something wrong with my account?

Having the same problem on PC. Had been logging in once every couple of weeks and making transfers no problem (kind of a free wildacard) but no go, now. Maybe they wised up?

I watched it before their 1001 ways to lose lately and why I'm hooked 😂

Arguably the weirdest bit was losing to Steelers and Bengals twice in last few matches last season.

1 of 3 to beat Ravens (and LJ will drop to mean), Seahawks were v lucky, Pats only held their gifted lead while "we" scored loads against them....

Defo the Ipswich of NFL 😂😂😂😂

Given we have a few sheep over here, one thing i know is that often when they are in Lamb and/or very woolly  after they lay down the Sheep become cast and cant get up, then they lay on their backs with all four feet in the air, until the Sshepherd comes along and picks them up and they are back on their feet, its common on the Lambing beat

Us humans have our balance sensor in the ear, sheep however it is the stomach. When they are cast and require intervention to stand again it takes about three minutes of holding the bigger upright for the stomach to settle. If let go, the bigger will go "tits up" very quickly.
I am sure shepherds originated the tits up phrase.

Unlike many animals (eg dogs with 6), Sheep only have two teats so they could well be compared to tits. That's why when they occassionally have 3 lambs the farmer will try and palm one off on a ewe that only had 1.

That is about the sum of my knowledge on the topic....

Having just done intense research (AKA 1 minute of googling) I can tell you that it is either just a variation on belly up (referring dead goldfish floating belly up etc) or that the navy originated it in WW2 due to the "fact" dead women float on their back and dead men float on their fronts. Probably.

Healthy sheep have four teats. Shepherds only try to foster off one lamb if the have a ewe with a dead lamb.

Some do have 4 apparently but many breeds usualy only have 2, hence the need to palm one off.

Thankyou google!

I'm still not having dead women floating on their back and men on their front.

They mentioned on Springwatch the other night that foxes have 8 (or sometimes 10) teats. Think that means don't buy Leicester players as they will go quadruple tits up when it restarts.

Or gave up?

Now when you tryto make a transfer you get:
Game over. This game has now finished. Thanks for your interest, come back soon to select your squad for next season's game.
