Apparently, Liverpool are absolute pants according to quite a few of my non-Liverpool supporting friends on Facebook today  so it looks like I need to get rid so it's :-

Salah  any non-Liverpool mid
TTA  any non-Liverpool def
VVD  any non-Liverpool def

I don't blame them though. They've been waiting so, so long to be able to say something negative about Liverpool that I'll just continuing smiling and let them have their little digs, they deserve to have something to cheer about at last.

I'm curious to see if Liverpool bounce back in their cup match and if they play their starters again. A loss certainly takes the pressure off them of being the next 'invincibles'

My knee is jerking towards Sarr in for Maddison.
Will wait and see what the midweek games bring though...

I'd like to get hypnotized and wake up on Saturday morning. So many transfer options but have to wait for FA cup

Actually brought in Vardy last week, think I might keep for (AVL)

Martial  Mount
Jimenez  Aubameyang - (just had to follow the herd in  (except the herd has Jimenez as well  ) and I had the exact funds so it just seemed right :) and got in a tick before the Aubameyang price rise otherwise would not have able to do that, sometimes things are just meant to be...

didn't check yet when I might deploy my WC

and still ruing havin taken a hit last week gambling on Martial  Maddison despit the latter having a drought streak

now Ings

he only scored once in last 6, starting on bench twice and not being involved even whe Saints scored
15p in last 6, 2.5ppg with 4 blanks (67%)
123p in first 22 (5.6ppg) with 8 blanks (36%)

something has changed, or it's just a drought streak for which we have no sign tho when it could end

problem is, its price went up 1.2m since when I bought him, and I'd lose 0.6m fees tied in him

Ings  DCL?

maybe better after next two

I had Bubbameyang till his absence, with the plan to bring him back as soon as I could
I regret I let his GW28 blank sway me
and his likely 31 absence as well is a problem, otherwise he'd have the same Jimenez fixtures in 29-30

Have the urge to wildcard but it feels the wrong GW to do it with the fixtures of my 1st 11?

Possibly wait a week and reassess when the fixtures turn a bit?

Transfer already made of Iheanacho   Aubamayeng

Might be time to move Traore on. Possibly for Mount, Barnes or Perez.

Second free has me considering alternatives to Martial, and despite his current form DCL  Jota also looks interesting.

Something changed yes - I brought him back in.

I've had Ings for GWs 1-6 and 23-28 this season. In that time he's earned me 21 points in 10 weeks (he got 11 in the other 2 weeks when he was on my bench). That means he's scored 117 points in the 18 weeks I didn't own/play him. That's 6.5 per game compared to 2.1 per game when he's in my team.

Ignoring all rises and falls and waiting for cup games to finish, + hopefully some DGW news this week?

Vardy could go if confirmed out v Villa, looking at Doherty coming in, 2 FT's and may also take a hit to shake things up a bit.

Everything depends on what happens this week and any news on Vardy. I had a "fat" front 8 to accomodate the blanking Grealish and KDB so ideally need to trim somebody down to a Saka or Cantwell etc.

Maybe Grealish and Rico to Saka and Doherty. Still not ruled out losing KDB either, I notice Magnus Carlsen took him out again last week.

I have 2 FTs and 0.0 to spend with these issues:

Defence - Soyuncu questionable but with 2 good fixtures. Rico to go at some point.
Midfield - Maddision questionable but with 2 good fixtures. Martial the leading contender to save money to upgrade my attack.
Strikers - Connolly to become Jota, DCL or Pukki if I can save money elsewhere. Ings could also make way but has two nice fixtures.

Initial thoughts (but will wait until the FA Cup fixtures make GW31 clearer):
Martial -> Saka
Connolly -> DCL if they have a GW31, otherwise Jota

I would hold Martial, but not buy.

Does Maddie to Barnes create enough cash to get DCL or preferrably Jota?

0.6 short because Connolly is worth less than nothing.

Let him rot and play 2 up top, or get Hayden etc for a mid and use that up top?

Your team looks extremely good for the round, considering that ARS-MCI DWG might get announced today. Lots of people saying that it is only a matter of time before being confirmed.

Traore will also leave my team and I am also starting to look at whether WC should be played. Have you made any initial drafts of a team?

Why this week for the wildcard peeps? Would you then free hit through 31?

Team specific thing more than anything else. I dont think I will press WC, but good the look into it as I should have the time available to do it.

I would then likely free-hit in GW31 yes.
