7 from four, Mahrez MIA, and a 4-point hit to remove Lundstram's 7-pointer for Stevens's 1-pointer. Splendid stuff.

Re: Winter break GW26 Scores
I am sorry to read about your misfortune. But for those who are involved on the FPL forum or are reading it frequently, the warning is frequently given: Never (c) and (vc) two players from the same team. It rarely happens, but as we can see again: Game cancellations are a possibility.Spinynorman wrote: ↑09 Feb 2020, 14:01
That would be serious poo indeed.
Other than that, choosing Agüero (c) and Mahrez (vc) for a triple was a huge gamble. Neither of the two is a guaranteed starter with Pep's rotation policy.
But if it is of any comfort to you, loads of FPL-ers including myself are now living in fear that Salah does not start either.

18 so far from two … DCL and Lundstram. Kun (c) and Salah (vc) … the gw can still go either way. Fortunately I have got cover for the two ManCity players.

15 from three. Will get Grealish off the bench for De Bruyne, so need another to miss out to get Lundstram’s 7 points.

Got lucky. Was going to captain KDB, left it on Salah with Vardy vc. Grealish off the bench for KDB.

Re: Winter break GW26 Scores
Man C game could move into next week though, thus staying in GW26. Both clubs would have had a winter break of at least 2 weeks...Would have to be announced today I feel. And to avoid European games, maybe it would slot in on Monday? I only have KDB to be replaced by Traore so I want it out of GW26 but realistically, the fixture pile-up would cause serious issues for everyone, likely including UEFA.

Sky Sports were saying it will he moved to 10th/11th.
I guess they would know better than most, as they are actually party to the decision.

Re: Winter break GW26 Scores
After points it's Transfers Made.
At the moment 0 points with
0 TM = GW Rank 6,434,347
1TM = GW Rank 7,303,906
2TM = GW Rank 7,348,351
Note that Transfer Hits (-4s) do not count against your GW Rank.
There aren't any further tiebreakers after Transfers Made to differentiate GW Rankings.
I'm currently on 4 points from 2 with Grealish coming in for KDB, so not too bad provided Salah plays.

Re: Winter break GW26 Scores
Having had a scout through our (extremely poor) works league, I have yet to find any active managers with more than one MC player. In all cases bar one it is KdB, and everyone has a Liverpool player as C or VC.
An absent Mane (or a Mane who plays a 20 minute no-goal cameo) will be a pain for those who kept him through injury, but unless Salah does such a cameo, or plays but misses a penalty etc, I think the chaos could be limited to a few unlucky souls.
That Liverpool teamsheet announcement on Saturday afternoon will be an interesting moment...

Re: Winter break GW26 Scores
Don't say that about the main man Mane I've got both and captained Salah ofc. So has just about everyone in all my leagues though, or Aguero (C) Salah (VC) so I'm praying on a Mane start with a tidy return and a Salah blank haharaoul wrote: ↑11 Feb 2020, 11:11 Having had a scout through our (extremely poor) works league, I have yet to find any active managers with more than one MC player. Re: Winter break GW26 Scores
What is the logic behind Salah not starting after returning from the winter break?
I just don’t get it at all?
Surely he is more certain to start than at any time since GW1?
He is possibly the most physically robust attacking player in the entire league. He is at his peak age. I don’t understand why he would be rested after... a long rest?

Yeah I don't understand this logic either. If anything with Mane being a potential cameo, not playing or if he starts and he's not fully at it Salahs surely going to play. Klopp would want him to keep his form going after a long break.Stu255 wrote: ↑11 Feb 2020, 12:06 What is the logic behind Salah not starting after returning from the winter break?

Can we stop all this negative talk about Mane cameo, ive already informed you all its his week this week when he gets a brace and comes off for a rest about 70 minsxJosh- wrote: ↑11 Feb 2020, 12:35Yeah I don't understand this logic either. Liverpool will go full strength like they have done all season, Klopp is not interested in the 22 point lead, he is wants to get the prem wrapped up as quickly as possible and he must also be thinking about going all season as unbeaten as well, because that is some feat when you think of how tough the prem league is these days

Re: Winter break GW26 Scores
Praying you’re right about Mane. Not sure I agree with the prem being as hard now days with City leaking goals for fun, Spurs, Arsenal, and Chelsea all struggling for results and even top players in a lot of positions. Regardless it’s an absolute feat to go unbeaten in any season of football. Take nothing away from what they’re doing and hope they keep slamming out the big guns for our FPLs. Just also hope they don’t break most of our unreal records from the 100 point seasonStevieste wrote: ↑11 Feb 2020, 13:11Can we stop all this negative talk about Mane cameo, ive already informed you all its his week this week when he gets a brace and comes off for a rest about 70 minsxJosh- wrote: ↑11 Feb 2020, 12:35Yeah I don't understand this logic either. Re: Winter break GW26 Scores
73pts with 13 games to play?
Man Utd won the league with just 75pts back in 1997.
It’s hard to see where Liverpool will drop points now. Especially as it’s not their prolific goal scoring that is winning all these games, but their complete game control. They just don’t let anyone dominate them for even 10 minutes.
Liverpool can afford to lose 4 of their remaining 13 games and still finish on 100pts.
But barring an outbreak of coronavirus it’s hard to see them losing 4 / 13 when they have only lost 1 game in 2 seasons and their remaining fixtures aren’t exactly difficult.
They’re in the wrong league.
