Given the Rashford news (glad I didn't pull the trigger earlier)...

Rashford to whom? Calvert-Lewin? Haller for a short term punt? Argh.

2FT. Think I’m looking at:

Rashford  DCL
Dunk  Robertson

This means the Leicester boys Vardy, Maddison, Soyuncu get the home game v West Ham as a final audition to keep their places in my team (it would have been curtains for one or two of them now if it hadn’t been for the Rashford injury).

Big week for them 3 as they’re on their last chance with me too. My WC trigger finger is getting itchy especially the way aguero is playing.

Rashford  DCL is the easiest way to get Salah in for me (Sarr  Salah)

But Everton's fixtures from GW27-33 are probably the worst in the league. Despite his recent improvement, surely it's too much to expect him to continue his current form through that run of games?

I think you’re looking too far ahead - DCL has nice fixtures for the next 3 weeks!

I'd rather have Tosun than DCL.

Very very tempted to wildcard to

From this

Ryan
Trent Lundstrum Chilwell (Rico, Kelly)
Salah KDB Mahrez Fleck (Cantwell)
Vardy Rashford Ings

4.7/Button
Trent Lundstrum Egan (Williams, Kelly)
KDB Mane Salah Martial Fleck
Vardy Ings (Greenwood)

Actually livid with myself because if I’d have done Rico > Williams last night I’d have been able to keep Ryan in net but 0.1 off. Chose not to incasee Willian’s got injured and didn’t affect original plan of not selling Rashford.

1. Should I wildcard now instead of the double gameweek/another time later in the season.

2. Which keeper should I get, think it’s out of Ramsdale/Pope/Reina and not confident in any.

3. If I don’t Wildcard I’ll be doing Rashford > Greenwood & Mahrez > Mane for a 4 point hit but will take price hits on Chilwell and Rico and am likely to miss some rises and be unable to achieve the above team.

For the love of god help me FISO people

Fab to Ryan

Pretty sure this will be the most exciting transfer posted in this entire thread.

I don't think it's worth it using your wildcard on that. I'd take the - 4 and keep the wildcard in hand for later. Then assess Chilwell the following week. Rico isn't a terrible option.

With Champions League matches coming soon and City facing Real Madrid, do you think Bald Fraud will start Jesus in PL and rest Aguero for CL? I'm thinking about bringing Jesus in.

Given that the 1st Madrid game is on 26th Feb I wouldn’t be close to considering it now. Few cup games Jesus will play in, Aguero will play in the league. Prior to the Madrid game is Leicester Away and following it is Arsenal at home then Utd Away. Might get but at Leicester away or Arsenal at home but it’s anyone’s guess to be honest.

I feel Rico is a terrible option tbh Bournemouth are all over the place most games and Chilwell with their next 4 games at least them being v likely to concede, Martial will be the focal point and on pens. Mahrez is in and out and the fixtures become rough too. Allows me to keep KDB and have Mane & Salah for this unreal run, subs are all playing bar button. Only downside I see is getting a worse keeper than Ryan and being unable to TC this gameweek which I’m not sure I want to anyway tbh 🤔

does it make sense for -8?

Rashford, KdB and Soyuncu to Aguero, Martial and Tanganga/Cathcart

other options are:

Rashford to DCL or Haller...
or
Rashford and Dendoncker to Greenwood and Martial for -4

help :(

6.2m itb, just need to chose either Maddison or Grealish to make way for Mane.

Maddison looks most likely, thoughts?

For a -4:

Digne, Soyuncu, Sarr out.

TAA, Gomez, Pussetto in

OR

TAA, Williams, Doucoure in

I need to find out if Pussetto will replace Sarr on the right wing. He has played in around 7 different positions for Udinese so he's versatile. Also need to find out if Williams is ahead of Shaw.

i can actually afford Rash and Dend to Tosun and Martial but that would give me a benching dilemma every week with front 8 of:

Salah Mane Grealish KdB Martial
Vardy Tosun Ings

I can’t decide on what to do with the Rashford situation...

Option 1: Rashford to Jimenez leaves 1.9 in the bank for changing Pérez and upgrading the keeper and defence of needed.

McCarthy / Martin
TAA, Soyuncu, Dunk / Williams, Tanganga
Salah, Mane, KDB, Perez / Cantwell
Abraham, Ings, Jimenez

- - -

Option 2: Rashford to Aguero, Abraham or Ings to Greenwood

McCarthy / Martin
TAA, Soyuncu, Dunk / Williams, Tanganga
Salah, Mane, KDB, Perez, Cantwell
Aguero, Ings or Abraham / Greenwood

- - -

I’d like Aguero but it does leave no wiggle room in funds without changing Pérez to someone cheaper. I also have a concern over Pep rotating him with Jesus.

Think im going to hold Rashford for a couple of weeks and see whats going on as i brought him in at 8.4 and will lose a lot of value if change now.

He didnt seem that bad when walked off so could maybe only miss a couple of games and play.

Wait and see for me, there is no one id want to take a -4 hit for this week anyway.

He has a double fracture in his back and will be out for around 2-3 months.

I like the fixtures but 1) Newcastle are by some malevolent force scoring goals even if it is just 1 goal and 2) he's my most expensive defender by far so he has to make way if I want Robertson or TAA. I even considered Sidibe + Liverpool. Too many combos and all seem to leave me with too many cheapies.

Now I'm on Robertson, Gomez, Doucoure in for Digne, Soyuncu, Sarr.
