Why Fab, Foster e.g instead of Ryan? Best upcoming fixtures for him. Is it because off diff. Potential?

IMO bettet to go for Ryan now If a GK transfer is needed and do the Fabianski pick on a WC maybe gw 28-29?

Completely agree. I have 2FT transfers this week and no pressing transfers to be made. So, to avoid losing one, I’m planning to go Foster  Ryan.

Brighton have the best fixtures as you say so it seems the best move to me.

Regarding Fabianski, I’m guessing people are swayed by the DGW, plus he does have the highest point per match of any regular keeper. But his fixtures up to GW28 are pretty bad as you allude to so not one for me.

I've got two frees and one is earmarked for Deulofeu  DCL, assuming he gets through the match tomorrow unscathed.

I'd be looking to get Watford players in before they play that Bournemouth side, not get rid of them...

Yeah, I had the same transfer pencilled in, but although DCL (BRI) also has a good fixture, there’s not much to choose between them so I think I will hold off for a GW.

Considering Gomez  O'Connell as a way of getting Mane,Salah and TAA in from GW23. Plan might change as I am not 100% decided on that trio.

Considering Rashford/Alli ---> DCL/Salah with two FTs.

I'd rather wait a few weeks, but I've only got a .1m buffer and would likely end up priced out. Reckon Salah could score well in the two games before the DGW (tot, MUN) so may go now.

I'm reeeeeally not sold on DCL, but don't see any other sub-6m striker options and no one else in my team I want to downgrade to free up funds (Maddison, Mane, KDB, Vardy, Jimenez going nowhere). Any thoughts on from Everton fans?

Maupay is currently 0.1 cheaper than DCL and has great fixtures too. So he should be a consideration at least.

DCL has solid enough stats for his price, but I must admit that the (lack of a) performance that Everton put in today is a bit worrying for his prospects. The 6m striker market has up ticked a bit I think recently with DCL, Watford's re-emergence and Maupay (plus Ings if you can still put him in the budget striker category, but I'm weighing up keeping the three cheapies vs moving to one cheapie plus a Abraham or Jimenez.

I'm currently running with 3 of them and have to weigh up the best ones to be on right now, or to consolidate two of them into a Jimenez/Abraham type (plus Greenwood).

In 3 GWs time, I'll certainly drop to two strikers (as Lundstram will be my 11th man for a time), it's just whether to move Del and/or Maupay on now, or to keep them both and allow Rico to stay benched. Currently favouring the latter but the lure of Jimenez' is strong.

Considering Ings to Jimenez due to fixture. Is everyone planning on wildcarding before the DGW or just trying to use transfers to get the players they want in?

2FTs and nothing pressing if Martial is fit, so Friday's most likely transfer is an extremely boring Evans to Holgate to free up funds to get Mane in GW24.

Already did Guilbert  Maitland-Niles

One FT remaining.
Am thinking of replacing Pope (Ryan) or Zaha (Perez / Sarr). Any suggestions?

if you could have any two GK going forward which would you choose?

thinking about finally getting in Ings and Grealish which frees up funds so I can change from Pope and Ramsdale.

I was 0.1 off from being able to have

Schmeichel-Ryan
TAA-Robertson-Lundstram-Baldock-Ramsey
Mane-KDB-Maddison-Grealish-Cantwell
Vardy-Jimenez-Ings

Worth having a look at the conversation in the Villa Injury thread re the two GKs slots. Maverick has some valid comments against rotating and investing as much as possible in the rest of the team, whilst I advocate rotation but as cheap as possible (Pope and Ramsdale likely to be my pairing).

No doubt united in general have been poor but Martial has played well even so... scored 25 points over last 3 GWs.

I think Moura->Mahrez as a maybe 2 GW punt after which Mahrez goes out for Salah. The other option would be getting Salah now but that would mean losing Rashford before Norwich at home which doesn't seem a bright idea even when Man U are a mess.

I have basically the exact same decision to make. I'm leaning towards just getting Salah now, partly because I think it's very hard to get a one/two week midfield punt right. If I was confident Mahrez would play the next two games he'd be in, but given his minutes over Christmas I think he's got a very good chance of being rotated. David Silva slightly less so, but the threat is still there.

Salah himself has two tough games on paper, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him score well against Spurs (scored in the return fixture) and for Pool to beat United comfortably at Anfield. So it's whether Salah's security of starts and points potential over Mahrez/Silva is worth missing out on Rashford and having someone like Calvert-Lewin (BHA, whu) over the next two games instead . Personally I think it just about is.

My punt on Joshua King backfired so looking for a £7m or less striker as replacement. Not sure who though.

I’d go with DCL for Everton’s next 5 fixtures, then switch DCL to Ings from GW27 when they start a nice run

Think it is time to get rid of Alli. Would like to have a punt on Perez. Are we expecting him to get more minutes now because of some injuries?
Could also play it "safe" and go for Martial..
