I know. I couldn’t do it to him, so Martial it is!

2 FTs. Just done Aurier > Gomez.

Second one likely to be Lucas out but not sure who to bring in. Maybe Richarlison or a punt on D.Silva or Mahrez...

2FTs, it turns out that Alli  Martial locks me into getting double Liverpool defence for the DGW which might've been fine if my attacker was Mane not Salah.

So Alli  Traore is likely to be my move instead, holding off on Rashford  DCL for now with the plan of upgrading Grealish to Mane in time for the DGW so I'll have a 3 of Salah, Mane and TAA.

I have scope for a 2 week punt on a midfielder to replace Alli, any price up to 10.5m. Already own Maddison and KDB. I've narrowed it down to the following options:

Traore (NEW, sou)
Richarlison (BHA, whu)
Mahrez (avl, PAL)
Martial (NOR, liv)
Sarr (bou, TOT)

The top 3 have the advantage of 2 attractive fixtures as opposed to one, Mahrez probably has the best of the lot but is not nailed on, whereas the others are. City also have EFL semi finals v United to come over this period.

As far as I can see it, Traore, Mahrez and Sarr all face a whipping boy too. What do you guys reckon? Anyone else I should consider too?

I just brought Maddison back in, but if it hadn't have been him I had my eye on Richarlison, so that would be my recommendation since you have Maddz already. Sarr is very interesting though, and Spurs don't look like a tough fixture to score in at the moment.

Will wait for cup injury news but barring anything will be using my 2 FTs to swap Ederson and Button for 2 active keepers to give me options for the rest of the season. I think Fabianski will be 1, unsure about the other.

2 frees, Moura  Traore will be one(after the FA cup games) with a view to building funds to get a 3rd Pool player for their double. Probably roll the other one.

Gone for Fabianski and Leno, for once I have an active 15 which I’m happy with so can save free hit and wildcard for later in the season when double weeks arise.

Alli to someone, but I can't decide who.

Midfield is Grealish, KDB, Mane, 4.4

9 to spend :?

Maddison , Mahrez or Richarlison.
Leicester have good fixtures
Mahrez is in good form but not sure on rotation.
Richarlison is nailed and has great fixtures. Captain material if Everton get their act together

Aurier to TAA
Pogba to Perez before he becomes Salah in GW24.

Wanting to get rid of Alli and Kane, but not sure whether to go Ings and Martial or Maddison to free up funds to bring in TAA for the DGW.

Alli > Richarlison seems likely for me with another FT in the bank should it be needed. 2M ITB but no real idea where to use it

That’s exactly the transfer I was looking at, but instead decided to downgrade Pereira and go Alli > Sterling.

Gets the structure sorted for Sterling to Mane for GW24 (I already have Salah).

I don't have the defence to downgrade with the Liverpool double up and Soy/Rico/Lund

The one that tempted me was to downgrade Alli to base price or just above, use Cantwell more and upgrade a forward or Rico but I didn't feel I had enough information to make the right decision so will go for the 4 week punt of Rich and will make a bigger structural decision in a few weeks time when the options might be a bit clearer.

I’ve had moderate success with the Pope / Heaton GK pairing so replacing the latter isn’t something I was looking to do. Not that easy to pick a replacement, it turns out. Saints look promising now, but the rotation doesn’t work so well. Might have to be Joe Hart on the bench until WC#2. Anyone else got this problem?

I did. Decided to jump onto Ramsdale despite considering Henderson also. BOU has quite a good fixtures coming. We’ll see if that leads to doubling up with Rico though...

If you are brave and have use for a few extra 0.1s, go for Nyland... (he’s AVL 2nd GK, isn’t he?)

Thanks, and good luck with Ramsdale - I really just don't fancy Bournemouth at all at the moment, whatever the fixtures. I have Heaton's 4.5 + 0.7 ITB to spend, so that rules out Pickford who also has decent fixtures incoming, but who I don't really rate much as a 'keeper. Currently I'm maybe looking at Foster (+ Pope) to get me through to the end of February or thereabouts...

Guaita or Fabianski would be my picks with that budget

Need to get rid of Heaton, probably for Fab, but it doesn't feel particularly inspiring. Keepers are very meh this season.

I'd like Auba and Richarlison but that would mean getting rid of Rashford/Vardy and Mane/De Bruyne, so I'm going to roll and see how it goes next week.

I haven't made any transfers since GW17 and only three since I wildcarded in GW11, but three red arrows in a row is pushing me into taking action. I want TAA and Traore but can't see a way of doing it without ripping my side up. Currently sitting at 50k.
