Tough call.

I lead 46-44. He has Sterling as captain and no bench should Sterling get a rest.

I also have Sterling but not as captain. I also have KdB.

So it is Sterling + KdB v Sterling + Sterling .

I have Greenwood first sub so some nice insurance.

Leading in the cup 44 - 27 against my third dead team in a row but he has Sterling Capt and Zinchenko (Kelly's 2 from the bench if he doesn't come on) as his last chance saloon vs my KDB and Aguero. Lucky for me he has Martial stuck on his bench

Still in the cup.

Saudi opponent who was 123k in the world to start the week. I am 12 points clear with Jesus to play but he has KDB and Sterling. I think it's going to be very close. He has got Trent second on his bench as well remarkably.

Lol Ederson gets sent off, Aguero is sacrificed, then a penalty that he would be his is poorly taken by Sterling who is now playing as striker. Sometimes I think the universe just conspires against me

Unless KDB can score, it looks like I’m going out

playing against a decent team. He (or she) has Vardy as C and Sterling as VC. I brought Aguero C and Ings as differentials as i suspect Vardy to be benched. Coule be full lottery this week with rotations. Lets see.

I guess most of the teams still in are pretty good, but having got myself up to a season high of 60k, I feel slightly unlucky to be drawn against someone ranked 50k. Honestly I like his team for this GW better than mine, so I'm not getting my hopes up!

Cup wise i think its better to play decent teams. At least you can read your opponent better : there will be a track record of transfers and captain choices (sensible ones usually). The worst is playing a dead team with freak line ups that just happen to score massively when you play them, or someone whos going to pull a chip out of nowwhere.

My opponent has got Dunk and Ings so he's had a cracking start. It's going to be mightily close again because a lot of his other players aren't playing. I have Kane but he's captained him so in a bit of a dilemma really. Will need at least a double digit haul from my captain Salah tomorrow to win I think.

I do love the Cup, they should do two a year.

Unless TAA and Mane are rested I am probably going to lose. Otherwise Jimenez and Pulisic have to outperform them.
