I like Trossard myself. Quite reasonable first 3 fixtures.

I like him too, but my worry is that Gross (who is their best player for me) is too good to be left out continually and could easily take the place of Trossard or Locadia at any time.

I have to say I'd not really considered it that much, purely because of having Dendoncker more or less set as a very good value sub. That's pretty lazy of me though and I really should think about writing off the second striker, as the 5.5 mids are cheaper even than the 6.0 Adams who has wormed his way into my side.

I've never seen Ceballos play but if he's a 5.5 mid playing in a creative role for a top 6 team with Pepe, Auba and Laca in front, it's hard to say that he's not the best option of them all. But there is a lot to like in the range, Stiepermann was one I had an eye on for draft teams and Robinson is playing up front (although who McBurnie replaces in the lineup would be a concern).

If you're going up to 6.0 then Trossard looks a safe starter but with a bit more performance risk (new manager and new to the PL) but does seem to be playing advanced in their 343. Or you take take the Mount vs Barkley punt, my worry for those two is they will cannibalise eachother's minutes.

great stuff Mav, thanks for the info.

That's how I ended up with the 5th midfielder as I wasn't really happy with the 6m and below strikers in the 2nd slot.

Arsenal play tomorrow I think so will keep my eye on Ceballos.

It's good he keeps getting so many chances. He might be an absolute steal at 6.0.

Not quite. It was a poor effort but he still had to beat the keeper.

Actually liking the Barkley option. Seems like he's been one of the main Chelsea men to impress in pre season and, other than maybe Mount, not sure who else can bring what he brings to the side.

Bilva 160

All to get 20 points per million over the piece

Form aside, mainly depends if you want a city captaincy option (at the time)

Bilva has the most head room (if they sell Sané especially)
Anyone done his points per position played?

Too much competition for places ? (Hammers)
Who takes pens?

Lanzini is nailed on and a better player than Barkley

Barkley isn't nailed on yet

Hammers and Leicester imo will surprise everyone and have some bargains in Teilemans Perez Fornals and Lanzini, anyone with a team structure that can't accommodate two of those at some point is making a mistake imo

Hammers attacking mids

Lanzini
Fornals
Anderson
Yarmolenko
Snodgrass
Antonio
Diangana

None of them on pens (although I wonder who if noble isn’t playing?)

I don’t doubt there will be a very good pick or two in there...
I can more confidently predict that stats per 90 mins will be a trap when they’re averaging 75

Lanzini and Fornals are nailed on, totally

Imo Fornals or Lanzini is a coin flick, same with Perez Teilemans

I don’t disagree re: West Ham, Leicester options - quite the opposite.

However don’t think I’ll start with any Leicester, West Ham or Chelsea players - but they’re all top of my watchlist!

Barkley nailed and miles above Lanzini. Plus on pens. No real competition here.

No I'm talking real life primarily, Lanzini is a car superior player imo, but I'll stick my neck out and say yes, he will also beat him fantasy wise

Sane not sold, but unfortunately it's just been announced he's to undergo surgery on his ACL. I'd expect him to be out most of the season. I guess as well as more game time for Bernardo Silva on the right wing, it opens the door to Mahrez too?

Bernado prefers the left side apparently. Not that Pep will necessarily play him there of course!

What’s the consensus on Bernardo? I’ve had him in my team since the first draft but not seen much love for him so maybe I’m missing something...

Suspect people feel better Man City options considering his slightly low points in comparison last season.

I’m likely to go with Sterling KDB and B Silva, as I can’t choose between them!
