tarkens wrote: 09 May 2019, 10:26 right, even though I'm 24 pts clear at the top of my ML, i'm considering -4 cause you know what they , the best defence is a good offence :)

Wilson -> Zaha
Jimenez -> Arnautovic
Son -> Bilva/Moura

does it make sense? would give me the following starting XI this week:
Gunn (Lloris) - TAA Laporte Valery (Doherty Duffy) - Salah Bilva/Moura Pogba Doucoure (Jota) - Aguero Zaha Arnautovic
come on, talk me out of it
24 point lead becomes only 20 and you gain Arnie and Zaha :roll:
Play Wilson and Jimenez in my opinion. Wilson can outscore Zaha, Jimenez has a tough fixture and is tired but should still get two points ( he has no replacement until the summer transfer window), Arni is just as much of a lottery in a GW with nothing to play for and could be only two points.
Blame me if it goes to poo, what have you got to loose?
thanks

I think i'll do Son & Jota -> Moura & Bilva

Last week is supposed to be about a fun hail-mary punt, but Son's red has forced a midfield transfer and I don't really like any of the options. Already have Mane, Sterling, Bilva, Jota. Don't think a hit will pay off.

Fraser, Moura, Redmond, Pogba currently on the table but meh.

Gone Sturridge :arrow: Arnautavic

Was tempted with Wood, but he trolled me so hard earlier in the season when Burnley had a good run of fixtures (and then started to score big when I dropped him).

Tempted to do a -4 as I have cash and a bench boost, but -4 on the last game of the season could prove fruitless as there are few certainties.

Son and Jimenez out for me, like many others. Chelsea going to extra time and an injury to Christensen has convinced me to bring in Vardy. However, I find it tough to go with a Leicester double up. Chelsea will concede but will they ship 3 or 4?

I have 6.7 to spend on a mid. Can't do Redmond because I already own 3 Southampton :oops: . The guy I'm chasing in my ML has Deulofeu and Fraser, so those two are both out. I need a differential. Maddison, Mili, Babel, Tielemans are at the top of the list. Any suggestions?

Contemplating with 2 frees:

Son --> B Silva
Eriksen --> Sterling

Eriksen's not been up to much recently and while their result midweek might give Spurs a boost I'm also not sure he had the energy before the Ajax game, let alone now.

I’m making the same two transfers out and am getting Vardy +1. I like Babel. I think I’m choosing him over Redmond, however I’m 5 points behind my mini league rival and he owns Redmond so that sways me a bit.

In your shoes I'd go Tielemans, guy is absolute quality.

Could do with a bit of guidance again please, thanks for the input last week BTW. 👍

16 points ahead in ML

Current squad:

Lloris Gunn
Laporte TAA Doherty Masina Kelly
Salah Hazard JWP Babel Son
Aguero Jimenez Gray

2nd place current squad:

Kepa Boruc
TAA Laporte Shaw Jonny Bednarek
Salah Hazard Son Maddison Redmond
Jimenez Wilson Zaha

Should I go

A) Son and Jimi to Fraser & Vardy - 4
B) Son and Gray to Redmond (already have JWP) & Vardy - 4
C) Son to Pogba/Redmond/Fraser/Tielemans?

Many thanks in advance!☺

In the same boat as you, as I suspect many are.

Fraser - second in the MF form table only to Salah, gets hauls, sometimes big, away from home. My likely choice.
Moura - Too hit and miss for me though I can see the appeal
Redmond - Ending the season with 3 Soton players might be a bit too much for me
Pogba - no thanks
Babel - If Mitrovic was still out, I'd consider him

Time to set that 2-6 home defeat straight.

For those wanting to bring in Vardy and trust the Guardian, be aware...

Barnes' finishing was woeful in the (only) match of theirs that I saw.

Looking for a last minute punt in midfield £7m to spend and currently on either Fraser (already have Wilson) or Mili with Babel lurking in the background. Any thoughts?

I've considered Babel - surely a great differential and Fulham have showed a bit of form under Parker. Newcastle have 10 clean sheets in 37 games... so you'd think they'd concede...

I think they meant to say Vardy instead of Barnes (unbelievable typo) because Barnes is listed amongst the subs, unless I've scan read that page all wrong.

Ha yes, they've corrected it now. Nevertheless, it's not like their predicted line-ups should be looked at.

Haha I knew someone (you, obviously, would react to that :lol: ). Actually, and honestly, I was reading this article (sickening...) and saw this linked so had to confirm my bias against the Guardian's line-up predictor peeps.

Jiminez -> Arnautovic
Jota -> Moura

For a -4 hit.

Pretty much wrapped up all my mini-leagues so just hoping these two will help maintain a top 2k finish or maybe if I could gain 193 places get into the top 1k.

Have Son banned, Kolasinac unlikely, and too many Brighton and Wolves for my own liking (expecting Man City and Liverpool to do a job tomorrow). Considering Kola, Son, Jimi to Laporte, Fraser and maybe Rashford/Zaha/Wilson for a hit. Though that might change as the drinks disappear this evening!

Outfield is fine.

So Ryan to which keeper? Max £5.1m

Leno, Rico, Schmeichel or Heaton.

Ideally Southampton keeper but much doubt about whom will start
