I've FH this week.

Kepa,
Shaw, Laporte, Doherty,
Pogba, Hazard, Sterling, Son
Aguero, Rashford, Long

Speroni, Kante, Valery, Peltier

£0.1m in the bank.

I'll go with that at the moment, not sure who the captain will be yet but have a big gap to try and gain. This is the week as leader has used FH and WC. However could be a week he will BB or TC.

Peltier and Stankovic?

With 11 doublers you’d be very unlucky to need even 1 sub. If there is no mention of injury at the pressers before GW32, your 11 picks will surely feature in 1 of the 2 games.

I'll probably go with one playing sub and 11 doublers. Should be more than enough.

I can only imagine an injury in the warm-up as the only scenario where a sub is needed.

There are training ground injuries which are conveniently skipped over in press conferences.

We would probably have many "player X not spotted at training ground" tweets in that case.

But, of course, we take them with a pinch of salt, e.g. Mane last week.

Currently going with Valery and Connolly as my two duds. One playing (and an expected doubler), one not. If I have 0.1m spare once I'm settled on my team, I will likely "upgrade" Connolly to Peltier or Stankovic.

Of course, they can be false alarms too. But if there was an actual injury, we would get those tweets as well.

My opinion for what it's worth based on info we have currently:

FWDS

1. Aguero
2. Rashford
3. Kane
4. Jimenez
5. Lukaku
6. Higuaín
7. Batshuayi
8. Deeney
9. Zaha

Zaha could rise if fit, Ings could be added maybe, but if going for 3 forwards I think it is any 3 of the top 4 above, with Lukaku or Higuaín representing an element of risk taking. If going for 2 forwards (and 5 mids), then 2 of the top 3 surely. Possibly the top 2, end of discussion?

MIDS

1. Sterling
2. Hazard
3. Pogba
4. Son
5. B Silva
6. Eriksen
7. Martial
8. Jota
9. Alli
10. Milivojevic
11. Deulofeu
12. Pedro
13. Willian
14. JWP

This is maybe where things will vary. Virtually everyone will pick at least 2 of the top 3, if not all 3 of them. After that, a lot of options.

Just for fun and debate, interested to hear thoughts.

Oh yes, and is anyone going to consider a player with 1 game only (if using a FH and having the ability to pick 11 doublers)?

Interesting Raul, as you suggest, there is going to be a lot of commonality between the teams so it might be quite difficult to make much progress. The trick is probably to identify the high reward differentials. I've currently got a team without any Utd players but not feeling overly confident about that.

No FH here.

Form over fixture is still a thing isn't it? Bernado great form great fixtures
Son, poor form poor fixtures, so why?

In a 3-5-2 I don’t know who else to get at the Son price point?

Kepa
Shaw Luiz AWB
Sterling Hazard Pogba Bilva X
Aguero Rashford

3 city 3 united 3 chelsea already. Alli or Son are the only price points that fit, who else could I pick there? Don’t fancy anyone cheaper, would’ve been Jota if they got knocked out the cup.

I've selected most of my team, just 2 or 3 decisions to make. I was originally thinking 2 Chelsea defenders and Hazard with Bats upfront, now I'm leaning towards 1 Chelsea defender and Hazard with Higuain upfront.

At the stage now where I'm chasing points and Higuain I feel will deffo be a differential with potential of getting a haul.

How about David Silva instead of Bernardo? Has started 6 of the last 7 and has 4 assists in that time, he also has no international duty.

Bernardo has just 1 FPL return in his last 9 games.

Happy to see that my non-FH team has many of the same players as these FH teams.

FWIW:
Ederson
Doherty, Shaw, AWB
Hazard, Pogba, Sterling, Camarasa (or H Barnes)
Aguero (TC), Jimenez, Rashford

Barring injuries mine will be -

City - Aguero, Sterling, Sane
Utd - Pogba, Rashford, Shaw
Chelsea - Hazard, Luiz, Azpil

Cheap Goalie and approx 4.5/4.7 on another def/mid. No one on the bench of any note :D

I'm thinking of trying to something slightly different to get Kane in. I still have 11 doublers but it means going budget defence and hoping for a Palace clean sheet against Huddersfield.

Ryan (Stekenlenburg)
Schlupp, Wan Bissaka, Boly (Simpson, Connolly)
Milivojevic, Sterling, Pogba, Hazard (Oriol Romeu)
Rashford, Aguero (C), Kane

My alternative is to downgrade Milivojevic to a 4.2m and go 4-3-3 allowing me to bring in Kepa and Shaw

For those free hitting are Liverpool a concern, as those non-free hitters are very likely to have some Liverpool players....Salah, Mane, Robertson, TAA etc?

Kepa
Laporte, Lindelof, AWB
Sterling, Hazard, Pogba, JWP
Kane, Aguero, Rashford

I'm 0.7 short of this team, any ideas where I can find some additional $$$?
Kepa to McCarthy seems to be the obvious one but that means going into DGW without any Chelsea defenders and they play Cardiff and Brighton...

I assume virtually everyone will go Aguero/Rashford and Sterling/Hazard/Pogba. Well, everyone except you it seems :).

The other 6:

- must have a 3rd MC player
- maybe a 3rd MU player
- maybe a 2nd and/or 3rd Chelsea player, but who?
- some CP defence (cheap, and have HUD)
- can't ignore Wolves totally, probably forwards rather then defence
- Kane?
- Deulofeu?

My other 6 atm are Kepa / Laporte, PvA, AWB / Jota / Jimenez (with 2.3m itb, but who to spend it on!!). But I can see a lot of other combinations that seem to have merit.

Tempting to add another MC mid but with Dilva, Bilva, KdB (maybe even Sane) it seems like a lottery as to who will play decent minutes.

Streling - Hazard - Pogba - Deulofeu

I'm a big fan of Deulofeu but I don't think he'll play both league games. Surely he will get rested midweek so he's fresh for the Cup clash against Wolves. Apart from him a very strong selection.

maybe stick with the first draft, but go 352 replacing Zaha with Milivojevic and then going back to Jota instead of Deulofeu? I would also agree re Chelsea defence btw, and whilst you can afford a second Chelsea defender I would go the AWB route.

Why do you like Jota more than Deulofeu?
