Seems like nobody went for a SGW player. Feel silly having Mkhitaryan

I wouldn't pick Mkhitaryan in a single GW let alone a double!!!SirMattBugsby wrote: ↑31 Mar 2019, 12:12 Seems like nobody went for a SGW player. Feel silly having Mkhitaryan

Yeah I know, but he's done well in the last two home games. The choice for 7th attacker amongst DGWers wasn't clear-cut, so I thought why not?cesc408 wrote:I wouldn't pick Mkhitaryan in a single GW let alone a double!!!SirMattBugsby wrote: ↑31 Mar 2019, 12:12 Seems like nobody went for a SGW player. Ars-New and Lei-Bou were the ones I was looking at, Tielemans and Maddison being the other candidates.

Laporte assist, eh? 13 points not enough for him this gameweek? My decision to go for DSilva as third Man C is proving rather costly it seems!

Ditto, and to rub it in, I would have paired Jota with Laporte. This season has really not been enjoyable in the slightest.Sutter Kane wrote:Laporte assist, eh? 13 points not enough for him this gameweek? My decision to go for DSilva as third Man C is proving rather costly it seems!

Barring mishaps this will probably be my team. I started with the non-FH template and by making a few judgement calls on expected minutes and analysis from RMTs like FFFix I reached the team above.

A case of so near, so far for me.
Laporte, Jota, Eriksen were all in my team before I decided to switch it all around by going David Silva instead of Eriksen.
Will end up on 93 points, could have been so much more

Etheridge
Robertson Doherty AWB
Sterling(TVC) Mane Pogba Fraser Deulofeu
Aguero(TC) Rashford
How many more points would you expect to achieve with your team? I'm thinking the success of FH 32 depends a lot on how Chelsea do.
Ederson
Alonso Doherty AWB
Sterling Hazard Pogba Son
Aguero Rashford Jimenez
Direct optimisations would be...
Alonso Azpilicueta
AWB Schlupp
Son Eriksen
Ederson, Doherty Patricio, Laporte
Patricio
Azpilicueta Laporte AWB
Sterling Hazard Eriksen Pogba
Aguero Rashford Jimenez
RMTs fancy Foster over Patricio which I'm inclined to agree with. The rest of the changes centre mostly on underlying stats and form.
Of course, this is just my personal interpretation of the data.
As for how my team directly compares with the one you gave, RMTs have it out scoring it and I'm inclined to agree. Aguero TC is expected to bring in 15 extra points and I don't think that team is expected to get over 100 points without chips, but FH teams in RMT are expecting 115-130 points this week.
Looking back on the discussion we had earlier, is it safe to say the FH was beneficial by atleast 20 points for most teams? Most of what you said at the time was right Resonare, although the inspired pick of Eriksen helped.Resonare wrote:= 116 ptsResonare wrote: ↑21 Mar 2019, 15:10 Foster (3.9)

The team I gave you would have scored 75 points with TC. That was virtually my non-FH team.
I gained most points in defence via Azpi and Laporte. Hazard outscored Mane by 12 and (TC) Aguero would have got 10 extra points.
I will point out though, that a player in my ML did cross 100 without FH and with TC. Double Man City defence plus Jimenez did the job for him. He had, however, used FH in 31.
Laporte easily won the contest vs third City mid. Spurs mid, especially Eriksen, turned out to be the extra edge. Jimenez class as always, beating Higuain.

Thoughts? I've tried considering this from various angles (basement, ceiling, starting probability, form, fixture, ownership) and it's done my head in
Is it worth getting a Spurs player anyway? (Says the guy who was advocating Kane a few posts ago )

Re: Free Hit GW32
Interesting how it turned out. A few people in my ML got about ten less points than me for using TC Aguero. Similar to SirMatt's point, they had City players and Jimenez anyway.
And a lot of the coin tosses turned out to be fairly insubstantial, with Martial/Son/Mili, Azpi/Laporte, Rash/Jimenez/Zaha all scoring similarly.
Thanks to those who encouraged me to punt on Rashford and Martial over Alli and Bats! Nine points better off there x
