Can't decide between Wilson and King.

Is King worth a gamble? Every team I see has gone for Wilson and so far King has only 17K transfers in compared to 260k! for Wilson.

Thinking of King just to be different against the crowd, he just as likely to start and has a good chance of scoring, anybody else gone for King above Wilson?

Fraser or Maddison for Son or Pogba?
Vardy or Wilson for Rashford?

2 FT's.

Fraser wins the first one for me. Gotta lose Son I think.

The second is more of an ‘it depends’. Do you still have your wildcard and FH? Are funds tight? Answers of yes and no respectively will favour Vardy - he’s the best pick IMO but far more likely to block off City attackers further down the line.

Wilson has very Wilson-friendly games in GW31 and 33.

Wilson has far better underlying stats.

so King not worth the gamble at all? not a Bournemouth fan but whenever I see them King looks like a good player and it will only be for two fixtures (I'm using FH in GW32) so it's basically two home games v Newcastle & Burnley, just seems like a way to create a bit of difference against other teams. Is King still the 1st choice penalty taker?

just found these little stats, but they don't make the decision any easier! :)

◾Callum Wilson is vying to score in four consecutive league appearances for the first time since October 2014 in the Championship.

◾Joshua King has scored four goals in his last four league games at home.

This season:

Wilson xG 0.52 xA 0.24
King xG 0.39 xA 0.14

Note: King's stats are even inflated by being on pens (we don't know it but he might be off pens now) and playing as their most up front striker when Wilson was injured.

I know Wilson is the one who will play as the main striker but King has scored two double digit hauls while Wilson was also in the team (GW's 5 and 8) so I'd be gambling on King outscoring Wilson over GW 31 & 33, I agree Wilson looks the stronger pick but just looking where I can create a bit of variance this week as lots of teams will be very similar due to the restricted pool of players and King as an alternative to the hugely popular Wilson is just something I'm looking at. I can't see too many other situations where I can go against the template without it being a complete mismatch.

Wilson is more likely to score better in GW31 and GW33.

You can surely increase variance by picking King. That's true. You are just more likely to lose than win.

I know :) but my query is how much of a risk is King? He's sure to play, and not completely useless, and maybe on pens, and it's two good home games, and he's better at home than away, so maybe a risk worth taking?

Yeah I was looking to bring in Fraser and Vardy too, just a little doubt over Fraser which is annoying.

It is perhaps a good opportunity to increase variance because he is probably far less owned than Wilson and he can score well. It's just a definite no for me because I want to pick a player who is more likely to score better.

Thanks, I'll probably gamble, I've got several of the other popular key picks and the King/Wilson choice is where I thought the alternative to the popular pick wasn't as outlandish as it is in the other teams.

Take £3.9m goalkeeper instead of Schmeichel and you have £1.1m more to invest on your actual players.

i have like 7 points in the bank as it is with this lineup...if this were an actual wildcard rather than a free hit i would certainly do that

think i've got a good balance of players from teams that will do well this week and people on form

If you take a base-price goalkeeper instead of Schmeichel you can upgrade Calvert-Lewin to a much better striker with a much better fixture. You don't need Schmeichel on the bench because Fabianski will play anyway.

He a doubt through illness and the fact Giroud got a hat trick and an assist in there last game.

Im presuming they think he maybe on the bench and Giroud given a chance to see if can take his form into the prem

I did see that but presumed since Sarri brought him in that he would be first in line when fit. Guess we shall see.

Anyone fancy a punt on Arnie? I could see a lot of goals in that match

Ive got Arnie upfront with Vardy in a 3-5-2

If was not for liverpool playing Fulham id actually make Arnie captain, could be a very big differential this week
