Inside top 2.5k

Absolutely delighted, though I'll never quite get over realising my first WC decisions cost me getting as high as 6th midway through.

Looks like around 6,500 for me, which is great but very disappointing given I was inside the top 1k 4 weeks ago.

A top 4945 finish which I’m happy with, but some dodgy choices in since the second wildcard have cost me a personal best. Going to take Norwich’s promotion as a cue to have my first non-fantasy football season for over a decade. I’ve always thought it probably takes up too much of my time, so will be interested to see what I do with the spare hours! Well done all and have a good summer!

Red arrow on my Free Hit  A fitting end to a punishing season. Well, punishing second half anyway - the first half was actually pretty good, but that just made the second half harder to take. It’s the hope that kills you...

I’ll finish not far inside top 50k. Once again, without the advice I receive here, I’d likely be nowhere near even that, so thanks to you all.

Time to get planning GW39 - maybe it’s when I’ll really start to rise up the ranks. :D

It should be around 5.5k for me, which is great considering I only broke into the top 10k a couple of weeks ago.

Somehow squeaked into the top 10K. What a disaster my late chip show was.

My team won the league so iI'm happy! Hopefully this 90-something points to win the league is not the new normal. Can't take that pressure every year!

Highest ever overall rank finishing on 1,594 & points total of 2,450. Won my Mini leagues.

Each year I have been slowly getting better but this season I have had my best season ever.

Finished rank 3513 which just pips my previous best. As often the case at this point it feels a bit 'could of/should of done better' but no doubt in future I'll reflect back on it a bit kinder.

The learning curve continues but I think I may actually start next season with a rough idea what I'm doing

172k in my first go. Halved my rank in final few weeks despite playing chips too early.

Lots of things learned.

Can't wait for next season...

Didn’t play SDT and got off to a shocking start in TFF so I paid much more attention to FPL this season than I usually do.

As a result, I’ve beaten my PB. Yay! Image

391k and worst season to date. It couldn't end soon enough. Just can't put my finger on it. Probably a culmination of factors. Time to enjoy the break and come back again refreshed.

Actually finished 17,143 LiveFpl more like Liefpl! Wimping out on Deoleufeo and getting Doucoure instead a couple of weeks ago cost me a better finish but still can't complain a good season in FPL terms at least.

Thought I’d done well this week but turns out I didn’t. Dropped further to 7029. Could sound strange but feel like this has been a very boring FPL season.

Chris Hughton sacked. Didn't see that coming, even if Brighton have been awful for the past few months.

Very poor from Brighton's chairman imo. If they were going to sack him, at least announce it before the last game so he could have gotten the sendoff he deserved, like Bruno. Not quite sure how Hughton could have done much more this year as a whole; stayed up and got to an FA Cup Semi final for the first time ever - arguably the best season in the cub's history!

They have been terrible in the league for ages (so it's not necessarily an unjustified sacking), but it's just such a classless execution of a man who has shown so much class. :(

You can only do that if the departure is a mutual agreement, its a tough sell to the coach to sack him, then say you can soak up the adulation for one last game just so the fans can appreciate what you achieved for the club.
My guess is there was a lot of chat from players directly to the board, maybe the threat of a summer exodus if Hughton stayed on.
Shame they didn't have the guts to stick with a coach who took them out of the championship basement to promotion.
Going from 15th to 17th isn't as big a fall from grace as 7th to 15th (Burnley) even taking into account the early season start. Is Burnley's style of football that much more watchable than Brighton? Hughton's fault was they played pragmatic and ugly from Christmas on, whereas Dyche picks his ugly performances spread through out the season.
I can easily see Brighton desperate for at least half a dozen points from their last 8 games next season, when pragmatism would be a needed commodity.

Take issue with your comment on Burnley. There is no doubt their early start to the season in the Europa League affected their form. They improved. Brighton went the opposite way. They slumped towards the end of the season - what was it 3 wins since December?

Yet Brighton made the FA Cup semi finals.
That in itself is ‘success’ for Brighton?

and Burnley only managed three wins prior to Christmas. They were third bottom and had two points more than Huddersfield and Fulham. Theyd only played two league games before they exited Europe. Yes it ballsed up their pre-season, but they weren’t juggling a European schedule.

As an aside, I did see a suggestion that it ‘could’ have been that Houghton was offered the send off, but didn’t want to detract from Bruno’s

The difference between Burnley and Brighton is that we don't have ideas above our station.

In other news, lol Leeds.
