I just noticed something weird and thought it's worth to share it.

Glenn Murray has failed to get an FPL assist since season 2014-15! After that he has played three PL seasons (he played in Championship in 2016-17) and a total of 4,905 minutes in those three seasons, and totally failed to get any assist at all! During those 4,905 minutes he has created 34 chances of which 5 were big chances. So not many chances created for his minutes, but still you would think that at least one of those would have converted into an assist, or maybe some rebound of his shots or a free-kick earned by him. Or even just some meaningless pass. But no, he has totally failed to get an assist since 2014-15!

If somebody else took the penalties he dives for he'd have loads.

More attuned to marking Salah or Sterling, defenders sometimes struggle with his lack of pace

Anyone doing a Gameweek 32 captain thread ?

Be interesting to see who people are looking at with so many DGW.

Can see it be pretty close between Aguero, sterling hazard and maybe even Pogba

Can’t seem to find anything about it but have Willian and Jesus been called up for the national team?

Cheers, Stem.

Was hoping for both so Pedro and Agüero would have better odds to play both DGW games.

Sane takes a bit hit off a Serbian player in the 96th minute of their friendly. He walked off apparently - and he's recovered from a similar hit from a Cardiff player - but not great.

Was a naughty challenge that on Sane, he looked like he wanted to kick him in the face after itand having seen that tackle a few times he have had every right to as well, could have been a carear ending one that, was very lucky to walk away

A fringe Wales side left it late to beat Trinidad and Tobago last night, never thought the goal was coming, Wales seemed to play a striker out wide/behind the front line and put crosses into two small guys in the middle, perhaps Giggs is still learning......….hmm.
Wales C team [non league international] drew away to England the night before and some commented that this Wales team v T&T must have been the D team, lol - seems a bit harsh.

Swans morally won that match, they were done by poor officiating yet again, they have to suffer English officials when playing English teams and often end up over a period of time as having the worst record for wrong decisions against them of any team in Blighty, don't know whether that is a key connection or that they are a small team when its recognised by many that the bigger teams get the lions share of wrong decisions in their favour.

Henderson, TAA, Shaqiri, Salah and Robertson have all pulled out I think. Such a shame 🤣

Probably already known, but both Brazil friendlies are in Europe (think they play Panama in ireland).

Is there a resource anywhere showing which EPL players are selected for international duty?

Interesting that Salah has pulled out. We all know he’s been operating below his usual standards. Wonder if it’s fatigue or a minor injury? Let’s hope that a couple of weeks off help (including GW32 when I’m FH-ing him out!)

Salah hasn't pulled out. It was announced last month that he wouldn't be called up.

https://talksport.com/football/489831/m ... rch-boost/

With AFCON moved to the summer and Salah facing 2 years of football with no break, I suspect there was some pressure put on by Liverpool to get him some much needed rest in this international period.

With the Premier League being such a high profile league you would think that some English refs would have been at the last WC finals but when you see the officiating of the Swans v Citeh FA Cup game you realise why there wasn't any English refs there.

There's an awesome Australian ref moving to the Championship next year. Was mike-ed up for his last game in Australia and it was brilliant. :D

That is fairly disingenuous, we were due to have a referee at the world cup but Clattenburg left his job with the PL and forfeited his place and there the world cup specific training that the referees have to go on had already happened so no replacement could be named.

But that wasn't all though, the officiating was very poor but you used that and added a misleading comment about WC refs as a way of disparaging the PL and English referees
