Only 3 teams in this league so far. I know Yahoo is an aquired taste, but we must be able to do better than this.

Re: Yahoo FISO League 2009/2010
Sorry to say that I entered this last year and pretty soon gave up on it.
The scoring was too far removed from all the other games that I couldn't get my head round it.

Ditto. I never did understand it even from the off and didn't give it the care it might have deserved. Unfortunately by trying to be innovative they've put me off. I'm sure I'm in the minority though.Shaggy365 wrote:The scoring was too far removed from all the other games that I couldn't get my head round it.

Re: Yahoo FISO League 2009/2010
I think that the fact the game is so different from other is why I like it. I know it can be a pig at times to find and pick players but if you get past that it can be fun.DrBunker wrote:Ditto. Plus the fact each week you pick a new squad (sort of) to match the weeks fixtures.
So far the FISO league has 8 members in. I'm sure we can do better

Re: Yahoo FISO League 2009/2010
My problem was that I found that I couldn't sell anyone for a decent enough price to get anyone back in so I was either stuck with my original team or with a bunch of losers!

This is easily the hardest game to play and so demands knowledge and skill, hence no one entering it.lol. You wont see the multi team players top this baby!

12 teams in the league so far, about on a par with last year. Shame more people don't give it a go. It's tough but it does grow on you (after a season or two!)

Re: Yahoo FISO League 2009/2010
COME ON guy's, Only a week to go and we only have about 15 teams in the league.
The Starting 11 forum have 4 leagues going with 61 teams alone, in the league I'm in.
Surely we can match them in just one league?
You see if I can't nag you to join , I'll try and shame you

Re: Yahoo FISO League 2009/2010
Some how, I have managed to drag the league upto 23 teams. Almost double last years entry if I remember right.
Just one more for a nice round 24 teams. We might be able to start a sort of H2H side game later with a nice round number like that?
Go On you know you know you want to join in the fun.

Re: Yahoo FISO League 2009/2010
27 teams, not a bad showing for FISO, who for some reason have never really taken to this game. I really like it, you may have guessed that by now
Don't forget to check out the FISO Yahoo Cup thread.
Unless folk want me to keep it open. After todays kick off (or a couple of weeks after) I will change the league password so no late commers can enter the league and nick someones thunder.
I am still thinking about doing some sort of H2H side game. Maybe with 2 leagues of 14 teams (one being a 'Bye' - unless we get another team enter) andthe the two league winners playing for a Euro cup type of thing. Like I said still working on that, may never happen.
