PiToT TiTs have sliped from 1st place after leading for so long. Well done to atx1303 who must have been getting some awesome scores to grab top spot.

Here is the latest FISO Yahoo league table.

I see from this list and previous ones that Georgia's Giants hasn't scored for a few weeks. This is because they are not fielding a full squad. If they don't want to play Yahoo anymore I can always remove them from league.

atx1303 hang on to top spot and I'm stuck in 10th. wish it was the other way around. :)

01 atx1303 946.50
02 PiToT TiTs 911.00
03 Athletico Pathetico 898.50
04 The TJ's 885.50
05 Stoned Husky 831.50
06 Chrisharry12345 798.00
07 Hammer 785.00
08 lookaroundcafe 771.50
09 Donegal Blues 768.50
10 Sultan of Barnet FC 708.00
11 Pompey FA cup winners 2008 660.50
12 At it again 649.50
13 Jesternothergame 636.50
14 Pengy's Pirates 634.00
15 fozzies 630.50
16 Magflyers 628.00
17 thespecialones 583.00
18 DEPORTIVO LA CORTINA 580.00

I am still sitting nicely in 3rd place, all to play for still the next few weeks may make a difference with the double-headers and Christmas fixtures.

Thanks for updating the forum with the scores, much appreciated.

anybody know the chap in charge of team - Georgia's Giants ?

The team is not scoring because of not enough players in the squad. If they are not interested anymore we can boot them out, may be?

Was going to build my squad around Fabregas this week, now he is injured will need a major rethink, damn. :(

Well, the team is a long way off being competitive and the manager hasn't replied to your repeated prompts so I guess you might as well. You can always add them again can't you?

I think it's too early about Fabregas injury. It might not be an important one.I've watched the game and he didn't look like he was struggling.Better to wait Friday evening to get more news about it.

Equally, that seems fair enough too but I'm going to plump for he being a she due to the team name :)

The problem is that, as the theory goes, they've got games against Villa, Newcastle and 'Boro so they could probably rest him possibly for as long as until the Chelsea game rather than risk him...

I'm sure I read somewere that fabregas was out for 3 match's.

As for removing Georgia's Giants, I know he/she is not doing any harm sitting at the bottom and I'm sure The Goats team manager is pleased that he is not bottom because of it.
It just annoys the hell out of me that people join and then bigger off. I like the challenge of beating fellow players not no shows.
Sorry feeling grumpy today, must be that time of the month!

Latest league table looks like this, I see PiToT TiTs slow decline continues.
I am amazed by my 9th spot, normally in Yahoo I'm near the bottom of the table, not mid table and rising. Might meet PiToT TiTs on the way down. :)

Well thanks for those kind thoughts. To be honest though, it more likly that FISO members may not be as dedicated to the Yahoo game as much as say the FPL game. I'm 48 out of 49 in a Team Talk Forum league and hundreds of points behind the top 20 teams. The TT forum is dedicated to Yahoo so they give it their whole attention and do better I guess (except me of course!)

 Yippee Top of the league

Must be luck, good job not many scores for 'grand-slam Sunday' or things could have been very different...

Big double games over the next 2-weeks, with the rotation system it is anybodys guess, especially Liverpool...

Good luck and a Happy Christmas to you all....

Theres no luck or multi-team cheating here. If your top you know your footy and paying attention to your team. In this game many dont after Christmas and fall away..,,,

been thinking about doing a mini FA Cup game. I will draw randomly names and each team will play against another in next games week. winner goes through. The team that draw Georgia's Giants in first round will get a free ride (now how can I fix it that I get that ? )

With Yahoo's tinkering in mind, I just want to state now is that any scores altered after results posted will not be taken into account. ok?
Any game that is a draw, the team with highest league position wins.

Will post actual draw by weekend. Good luck all except Georgia's Giants

Right then, here is the draw for the FISO Yahoo Cup.

Pengy's Pirates vs PiToT TiTs

The Goats vs Hammer

Stoned Husky vs atx1303

Sultan of Barnet FC vs Magflyers

Jesternothergame vs Georgia's Giants

Pompey FA cup winners 2008 vs Chrisharry12345

Athletico Pathetico vs thespecialones

Donegal Blues vs At it again

lookaroundcafe vs fozzies

The TJ's vs DEPORTIVO LA CORTINA

Jesternothergame get the easy draw so can rest easy.
Tie of the round must be Stoned Husky vs atx1303 not an easy one to call that one.
May I wish all but Magflyers the best in this round of this mini comp.
NO PRIZE BY THE WAY.

Nice 1 blueprint.
That's what I call tough draw.I need to be lucky to beat Atx I guess. :)
Is there any home-away legs?
so who are those teams belong to?It would be nice to know which FISO members they are.
Stoned Husky is mine. :)

if there is enough weeks left of the season, we could make it each round over two legs.
I have not put too much thought into this just threw together a quick idea. If enough people respond with a vote for 2 legs, thats what we'll make it. As long as The Sultan of Barnet FC win the title I don't care.

 Hurrah, I have home advantage!

However, I like the idea of a 2-legged event providing weeks allow.

Thanks for all this, certainly keeps it exciting....

As I said earlier I put this idea up without much thought, as I have found out.
To make this work we need a league of at least 32 or 16.
We have 20 so it would mean 10 teams go through to next round then 5 and thats when it all goes wrong.

With 16 teams, it would go down to 8 then 4 then 2. So a re think is needed and here is what I propose.
At the next games week the bottom 4 scoring teams of the week will be eliminated, leaving 16 teams. I will redraw the draw and then each match will be played over 2 legs ( will take 8 weeks to play out.)

This is the best way I can think of doing this, unless someone can come up with a better idea?

Georgia's Giants would obviously be one of the 4 eliminated, so that would just be 3 teams really getting knocked out early. This is the trouble with having a fixed number of league members and starting so late with this idea.
