BIG BALLS III (£200 mini-league) - In Play!
Big Balls Returns
Returning for a third season, Big Balls III in 19/20 will be bigger and better than ever before.
In the first season we got 24 entrants and last season we got 14 in less than a week. This season I am aiming for a minimum of 26 entrants to give us a prize fund of:
1st = £4,000
2nd = £800
3rd = £400
The second and third prize will be guaranteed and fixed at that level. Any more/less entrants than 26 will only affect the first prize. So if we get 31 entrants then it'll be £5k first prize.
One team per entrant, no restrictions on FISO joining date or posting history, provided there is no suspicion anyone has set up a new FISO account to have multiple teams.
This is a standard mini-league. You pay your money to me and you enter one team in a mini-league I will set up on the Sun website. I've held thousands on here over the years so am as trusted as they come. Nonetheless, the standard FISO mini league disclaimer applies - http://www.fiso.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=116472

Dodgy Ron's Runners and Riders for Big Balls III
4/1 – Yorkshire Exile – Having sent Striker into hiding after last year’s triumph the money is back down for a repeat. Arguably the most in form multi format player in the world. Favourite.
9/2 – CBN – Proven course winning form and back to back top ten in the world finishes make him hard to bet against.
5/1 – MADCHESTER UTD – After WADA were called in at the start of last season things have been a bit quieter for this titan of the game. Surely he’ll bag the Big Balls big one at some stage…?
6/1 – gutshot – A lot of smart money has been seen for last year’s bridesmaid who is there and thereabouts year after year.
8/1 – ronny10 – The mind games have already started and lessons are bound to have been learnt from last year’s debacle. We’ll see…
10/1 - 12345678 - Fantasy Football royalty and picked up some big mini-leagues last season but can he beat off this field to land the biggest of them all? Fancied.
12/1 - Byro65 – Does the hunger still burn? Nobody could write off a return to form for this proven winner.
14/1 – Dot – Has finally managed to locate a pair and join the premier FISO mini-league. Many don’t give him a hope. One swallow and all that.
16/1 – Blademan – The housewives pick has been very quiet in pre-season and could prove a threat to all if not distracted by the lure of Big Oli.
18/1 – leethomas – The toys are back in the pram and pre-season is going well – at last count just one sober night recorded in the last seven. Has he lulled everyone into a false sense of security?
20/1 – Zidane – A real dark horse but astute to boot. Interesting outsider.
20/1 - Striker - The pressure told last year as he somehow managed to turn victory into third place. Wounded.
22/1 – WNP – Some finishes in the money last season offer hope for further improvement but this is a much tougher assignment.
25/1 – The Bear – A storied player from years gone by but more recent form is patchy. Chances at a price.
28/1 – Edmondson - Still a washed up has been and now BORING to boot. One to avoid.
33/1 – mad dog – The now global media star has lobbed in some of his commission to fight it out with the big dogs again. Chances of still being in the mix come September? Low.
40/1 - gray821 - Punters could be forgiven for asking '"who?" but there's something about the way this chap strolled in at the last knockings to pay and enter in a matter of fact way. Live outsider.
50/1 – Iksh – A regular entrant but outside of the summer games very little form to write home about and therefore very little chance in such esteemed company.
66/1 - hayesag - In a massive show of respect for FISO's pre-eminent, non-BORING mini-league, another also-ran joins the party. EXCITING.
100/1 – Backlash – Dodgy Ron has told me that you can have 10/1 for a top ten finish for this league administrator extraordinaire. Only an idiot goes on holiday just before the season starts. Anyone seen Danny?
250/1 - Asher - Lacking a noteworthy track record in the seasonal format is this £200 wasted or a wise investment at just the right time? Somebody lend him an 's'.
500/1 – drdes – You can tell your watch by this lad as he arrives each year like clockwork to make his annual charity donation. Written off.
1000/1 – brucelee – Rumours of him being a ringer have abated but who is brucelee and could he have everyone’s pants down at the first time of asking? Unlikely.

Re: BIG BALLS III (£200 mini-league) - Register your interest for 19/20
As it’s a register your interest thread I would like to do just that...register my interest.
No BS just honesty in saying that I will need to think about wether it will distract me from the main game. When I played Big Balls1 it did I’m sure as I remember making some dodgy transfers based upon other managers pics, however, missed it last year and feel that I would have been a contender.
Think I was also put off by losing in season 1 to the eventual winner of the whole Shabang!
Where as this year I’m not sure but feel that the field would have been more competitive?
I know what I’m like and my ego will probably ensure I play but if the head says no I will be disciplined enough to say no too.

Good man. If people want to pay now cos they’re flush or whatever then that’s fine. Otherwise will start chasing money once we get to the backend of next month.

Re: BIG BALLS III (£200 mini-league) - Register your interest for 19/20
No need to be nasty CBN.
I have an excellent track record as you well know.
It’s not the money for me...it’s you lot and your boys club clique.
I can see you guys being very off putting.
With that said I think I can beat you all.
But that’s just me ego talking.
Will genuinely think about it but am now leaning to probably not after the above.
No need to keep you in suspense this way Yorkshire.

Re: BIG BALLS III (£200 mini-league) - Register your interest for 19/20
Yorky won big balls with 2652 Ricky As you say it’s not just about the money as the kudos for winning such a comp is a big incentive but If Big balls does get the 26 entrants then £4K is very appealing especially when you consider even a 3rd place finish would double your money (though I don’t think ANY of us in it would be aiming for 3rd and rightly so). To get £4K in seasonal you probably have to finish 7th out of hundreds of thousands so again it’s very appealing in that sense. Though of course the 26 are all top players so still a fooker to winRickyRosa wrote: ↑04 Jun 2019, 23:01 No need to be nasty CBN.

You call yourself the closer, no one else!
Either play or dont, personally I hope you do but I wont lose sleep over it.
The clique thing is a myth, it's just the same group of people that enter every tournament on here and have done for many years, over them years there has been plenty of piss taking etc so dont think you are the first because we've all had it!
Anyway, if I thought everyone was against me it would just make me more determined.
In summary, just enter and stop over thinking
