Do you have BIG BALLS... (£200 entry mini-league)
I have sucumbed to peer pressure and said I will run this. We do not have long left. Here's what you need to know:
- Entry £200
- Maximum one entry per person
- Payment and league entry has to be completed by Thursday 9th August and 19:30 Friday 10th August respectively
- Prize structure will be £400 for second (double your money) and the remainder for the winner
I cannot take bank transfer as it'll cause me problems with my tax return so you either PayPal the entry to me or you bank transfer to Blademan who will pass it on to me.
I've held thousands on here over the years so am as trusted as they come. Nonetheless the standard FISO mini league disclaimer applies.

Would love to do this again but unfortunately I cannot afford it this year. Another baby on the way and a mortgage to pay - and no prize money in fantasy football last year Good luck all.

Re: Do you have BIG BALLS... (£200 entry mini-league)
Imop Mad should be allowed to enter as he is obviously good for it.
We should accept his entry and he needs to ship the funds after he receives his cheque.
If he never ships his team is simply removed or DQ'd from the league,
Simples.
Be a shame for such a good player to miss out and surely that's the point of the Big Balls league, money aside, it's a league of ultra elite players (I appreciate there will be Elite players who can't afford/can't risk the entry fee).

You use the word "we". Does that mean The Closer is in the house?

Re: Do you have BIG BALLS... (£200 entry mini-league)
Probably be easier to buy shares in someone Dog....
A good way to do it would be for example for me to share my potential team with you/other co owners before KO and take your feedback/injury news/common sense on board and modify the team accordingly.
You buy 10% or 20% at face value.
The majority stakeholder ultimately picks the team to avoid arguments or claims of cheating/colluding
Be good if you could buy shares in someone you really rate.
Not sure if the Closer is in the house as whilst my ego says play my conadrum as always with these things is which team do I enter.
I have a wide and varied coverages of teams and just like last year I feel that this league is so big it would detract from the main game.
It certainly did for me last year when I fell quickly behind "because I had entered the wrong defence" and found myself diversifying an otherwise sound long term team into a team of risks and long shots...I remember subbing in Inecacho and getting it wrong and being ridiculed and I hated it as I was only playing badly because I had panicked and was trying desperately to catch up in the first place.
It actually bruised my ego and I lost interest in the team and the game and FISO (then finding out there was no Euro Comp really topped it off as I hadn't played competitive FF for months and was out of practice) so became counter productive.
This year I do like the 2nd place double bouble prize.
Looks like a smaller player pool but very high percentage of super elite winning players like Lee, CBN and Mad to name a few.... plus it's unlikely that the winner of the league will also win the game as happened with CBN last year which means there is also the accolade of being renowned as the FISO season champion should you win it makes it even more attractive.
Maybe I will just buy some shares in one of the great players myself (that's assuming they would actually sell any and I mean why would they (making your suggestion of co ownership only really likely with an underdog Maddog) if they are winning players).
Will need to think about it.
I know I don't have much time.

Surprised you admitted you belly flopped last years comp, I opened this thread fully expecting you to be giving opinions forthright, still dining out of that 1 single brief tournament success in 2016
You should enter The Closer, that'll mean everyone else will be 1 place closer to the top

So if I've followed it correctly, Danny might have to pay people to take a share in him?
p.s. Ricky didn't you enter the same defence as I did?!

Re: Do you have BIG BALLS... (£200 entry mini-league)
Thanks Edmondson Cheers Ricky though rules are rules so if the money doesn’t come in in time then I’m fine if I miss out on big balls. Stating the obvious but even with just 10 or so teams in, it will be extremely hard to win. But a very good challenge all the same.
