Thanks Gutty & Lee.

Yes, you’re probably right for the promotion and relegation scrap.

Even if I put a few wins together it will still take You and Llama to have a really bad set of results to challenge the top spots.

I just can’t seem to escape the bottom three. I have CBN this week so it won’t be easy, but i did beat him last time. At least it’s even as we have no transfers and both have Kane..

Well you are getting closer, I think Madchester is gone but the other two slots are anyone’s guess still makes for a great league.

Before the match began they were two in form teams but Lee took the win 47-38 to not only end Gutty's good form, but also hamper his title efforts. Gutty still lies in 2nd but is now 4pts adrift of Llama on top spot. That was Lee's 5th consecutive victory and he remains in 5th place 7pts ahead of Mad Dog in 6th.

Blademan piles the pressure on the former champ Mad Dog by beating him 47-37. It's just one defeat in five gameweeks for Blademan and he is 3rd yet again after holding that position for some time. Mad Dog is 6th and 7pts adrift of Lee in 5th. A relegation scrap it is for last years prem champ.

Madchester must relish playing these struggling sides as he beats EPG 66-50. That's Mad's 2nd win in the last 3 gameweeks. He remains bottom but must still feel he has an outside chance of escaping the dreaded drop, now 10pts adrift of safety. EPG points wise is better off than Madchester just 5pts adrift of safety in 9th.

CBN was in luck this week as he played the only side that his low score of 33pts would beat and it was me who scored an appalling 9pts. After a brief blip CBN remains in 4th and 7pts off top spot. I'm just a point away from escaping the drop zone but have a tough test to come vs Gutty in GW23. Bring on those trannies.

I've saved the best til last as Llama is still in blistering form handing WNP his 5th defeat in a row just scraping through 50-41. Amazingly Llama has only lost once in the last 8 gameweeks and is now 4pts ahead of Gutty in 2nd. WNP has had some recent good fortune with myself and EPG not being able to capitalize on his recent bad form.

The table seems to be split in half by 7 points separating 5th and 6th.

GW23 matches.
Madchester v WNP
EPG v CBN
Llama v Mad Dog
Woody v Gutty
Blademan v Lee

Yep, nice one woody again. A bit of breathing space for me after being in relegation zone 5 games a go, a pool clean sheet would've give it gutty, seems to go to wire every week these games. Big game for me vs blade, a win i overtake him with Liam to come week after, a loss and think its my slim hopes of title gone.

Unlucky Tom👍 It’s annoying when you get the 2nd highest score of the week and end up losing😞 I still think it’s possible I can survive, though it’s going to need a amazing Leicester city style escape from A few seasons back to do it.😏 I’ve gone sh1t or bust this morning spunking all 3 feb trannys 💪🤗 As for the title, anyone of 5 teams can still win🙂

As always excellent write up woody👏

Lee beats Blademan 120-101 in a contest that was tight at times during the week. Following the win Lee jumps two places and takes Blademan's coveted 3rd spot from him. Blademan drops to 4th. Before the game began both managers were in pretty good form, Lee came through unscathed though for his 6th consecutive win. Blademan has lost only three times in the last eight gameweeks. Lee plays Llama next, a match he could do with winning if he has his eyes on the title.

There's no stopping Llama at the moment and despite a brilliant effort from Mad Dog he takes the win 87-78. We can only envy Llama's record of one defeat in the last nine gameweeks. Llama remains top but is now an impressive 7pts ahead of Gutty in 2nd. Sorry to mention of course that is MD's 6th consecutive defeat and it leaves him teetering just above the drop zone in joint 6th. A big match awaits MD in GW24 as a losing streak must end when he faces WNP.

EPG beats CBN comfortably 89-61. CBN was in line for a bit of a hammering but salvaged some pride in gaining some late points. The win was masterminded by EPG making a shrewd move in bringing in Son. EPG remains in 9th but is getting ever closer to safety. CBN drops to 5th but is a massive 8pts ahead of Mad Dog and myself in 6th.

I thrash Gutty 96-47 and move out of the bottom three for the first time since GW16. Aguero, Laporte, and Liverpool's lack of defence were the difference as Gutty's side let him down badly. Gutty stays in 2nd place a position he has held since GW15, but the 3 teams placed below him could pass him if results were to not go his way in GW24. I'm currently level pegging with Mad Dog in 6th place, a huge 8pts behind CBN in 5th. Bad luck Chris - Good game.

After a tough week Madchester wins for the third time in four gameweeks as he edges out WNP 87-60. The victory looks quite comfortable now but before Tuesday night's game Madchester was set to lose. A City clean sheet and Jesus scoring helped Mad on his way to victory. It was a crucial win for Madchester because WNP was the only team above the drop zone he could realistically catch. He is now 9pts adrift of safety so much better off than the 16pts he was adrift in GW19. WNP drops into the relegation places for the first time since way back in GW2.

There's still the gulf between 5th and 6th place - now 8pts. Madchester likes playing the strugglers as he's done what he needs to try and move out of the bottom three.

GW24
Madchester v CBN
WNP v Mad Dog (both on 6 game losing streaks)
EPG v Gutty
Llama v Lee (1st v 3rd)
Woody v Blademan

Cheers guys. Must admit that does feel like a big week for me. A 7 point lead is pretty big in a league this tight.

15 gameweeks to go though. Still 5 teams who could win this IMO

Good luck

EPG stuns title hopeful Gutty by beating him 99-84. EPG can now see a clear path out of the relegation struggle he is currently involved in. He remains in 9th, but just 2 points off WNP in 7th. It's the first time this season Gutty has lost three in a row. Amazingly, he still retains his 2nd place spot, he is 2pts ahead of Blademan in 5th. That was a brilliant score racked up by Tom, only Llama scored more this gameweek.

WNP's terrible run of defeats is ended as he just edges out Mad Dog 87-79. WNP's first win in seven gameweeks just about takes him out of the bottom three into 7th. For the first time this season, and after seven consecutive defeats last season's champ finds himself in the bottom three. It's very tight down there so a win would mean he jumps out. Mad Dog has led the prem twice this season back in GW10 & GW14.

Prior to this game Lee was in scintillating form but Llama was just too strong beating Lee 113-69. Lee drops one place to 4th. Llama is now 10pts clear of Gutty and CBN in joint 2nd, and you would need to have a serious gambling problem to bet against Llama winning the league. That was Llama's 5th consecutive victory.

The second lowest scorer of the week by shear luck happens to beat the lowest scorer of the week as CBN thrashes Madchester 68-43. Madchester is now 10pts adrift of safety, as those above him are in good form. Madchester faces a must win match against fellow relegatee Mad Dog next week. CBN jumps from 5th all the way up to 3rd and is part of the joint effort with Gutty to catch Llama who is 10pts ahead in 1st. CBN faces a tough match with Gutty in GW25.

I beat Blademan 86-69 in match which was always going to swing in my favour following Chelsea's heavy defeat and De Bruyne failing to hit the back of the net. Blademan drops one place to 5th, but is 6pts ahead of myself in 6th. That was my second win in a row and moves me up one spot to 6th, and three points clear of the relegation zone.

The gap between 5th and 6th is getting tighter.

GW25
Madchester v Mad Dog (10th v 8th)
CBN v Gutty (2nd v 3rd) both tie on pts.
WNP v Lee
EPG v Blademan
Llama v Woody
