CULL 10, WEEK 1, DAY 1 SCORES
7 games down, 3 to go but includes both Mancs and a Spur.
Apparently 21 isn't that good but, thankfully, only 2 teams can claim scores that are.

Re: ** murf's FISO TFF Highlander Killer Cup league 2018/19 **
Not close enough.
With so many others in the mix I thought Sterling and a CS was an ok return from Citeh, had Trippier too so just bought a Spurs attacker to make myself safe. Unfortunately I went for Llorente over Alli which proved fatal.
Looks like it is getting a bit serious with everyone playing hard. I still have 30+ transfers too...

Your list of players is similar to mine - not sure what the differential was but you are blessed with transfers (but out) whereas I feel that I am running on fumes! I rested on my laurels last week which was a big mistake.murf wrote: ↑20 Jan 2019, 20:18 Not close enough.

Unlucky - would have been me but for an inspired transfer - which got 15 points. Its a hard knock life in this league. The transfers are leaking away each fortnight but sometimes they aren't needed - its a balancing act having to judge.

A champion or bust strategy. I fell on my own sword with the same approach last year but I couldn’t have boasted 30+ transfers Arghhh!murf wrote: ↑20 Jan 2019, 20:18 Not close enough.

Re: ** murf's FISO TFF Highlander Killer Cup league 2018/19 **
Had used 6 previously then did Kane to Rashford for a weekend head start and long term move. Risked getting away with just Llorente on sunday after dithering about Sane then Alli. Had Llorente not got the own goal (or I'd gone for another 2 pointer instead) then I'd have lost to MorganB on a tie-break. So I needed a 3 point transfer and got -1Jamjack wrote: ↑21 Jan 2019, 11:46A champion or bust strategy. With having Coady too, I actually got 2 OGs this weekend!
11,746th with 32 transfers (31 and a half decent team after I boot Llorente out)

I gave Llorente a try in a few teams and was disappointed to read reports last night that he had missed a couple of sitters. I’ve not helped you have I?

Re: ** murf's FISO TFF Highlander Killer Cup league 2018/19 **
The monster could even become more of a monster. I've just been pondering a tweak for next year involving reanimating zombies to come back and battle for a place on the field. Highlander v The Living Dead....
(or I could just continue throwing darts at a picture of Llorente (using the skills picked up in previous weeks throwing cards into a hat))

You need to implement the change this year so that you can come back and make the most of your bounty of transfers!murf wrote: ↑21 Jan 2019, 17:40The monster could even become more of a monster. FA Cup time! Just 1 game gone and already a little spread (I haven't bothered adjusting my spreadsheet colours for any tie-breaks this early, think 6 of you would get immunity as it stands but sure that will go down to 5 over the weekend )

Just 2 FA Cup games to go and everyone, from top to bottom, is no more than a Fernando Llorente hat trick away from that centre line of impending doom

Re: ** murf's FISO TFF Highlander Killer Cup league 2018/19 **
Just came on here for the first time in a week or two and seen the sad news about the demise of our revered leader RIP Murf, there's always next year!
In fact I thought this week was a week 2 cull and I was safe, so haven't even looked at my team - however somehow or other it looks like I've made it into the top 5 and safety Lucky or what?
Feet up again next week

So, 6 evenly matched teams have a long drawn out cull-off over 20 Premiership games (- snow victims). Feet up for hog and 4 other lucky cup pin stickers. I got 40 by the way....

CULL 11, WEEK 2, MIDWEEK SCORES
10 games down, 10 to go. A couple of gaps there at the very bottom. Doogal with some serious work to do and workie needing to stay on his toes unless he wants his ticket invalidated. Nobody else safe from a Sarriesque weekend themselves although Zip may be contemplating resting a couple of his stars.
