this year's event ends with Sons of Pitches banking a modest cash award for a final 6 or 7 weeks after the race on 6 April. He just outscored Top Gunn 469-457. Weekly winners, 36 to 41 were The Silver Streak, Horsey horsey, Lerma Driver, SOP and Dave's Devon Reds (2)
I think I will award the last named a horse for the 2020 race when signing up for next season.
There were 2 cash winners from this years race, Lerma Driver & French Bulldog Dude from the 11 who had a runner.

just a little post Derby mention. Circus Maximus did not oblige with Frankie D looked like he was riding for the SNP. Today's required viewing is the final stage of the Giro, which has been a daily delight for the past 3 weeks. Last nights Madrid event was a big disappointment even with the enhanced BT colour gizmo's.

I GOTTA HORSE is preparing for the new season. If you are likely to be aTff season ticket holder there will be an additional route in to qualify for a horse (or two) featuring the 24 Championship teams. Hoping the details for this come out sooner rather than later from Tele Towers (as last season)

Sir Harry Hotspur joined me for the 5 days at Ascot and I just got home by a 'short head'. Soon be time for the new season and as we enter year 5 on the Aintree trail I wonder who might be joining us this time. Last season it was a mix of FISO fanatics and single team 'innocents using their Tele free entry. Will the Tele have a generous early bulk buy policy which will appeal to the in-betweeners who are happy to pay up to £20 for a seasons entertainment ?

with the arrival of a moderator and 2 female non FISO players I am seriously considering amending the possibilities of how to earn a horse (or two). this might be a recruiting master stroke for 8185263 /7035. A quick email mentioning a prize horse every month and there was instant action. I am now trying to discover the email identity of 6 Friday entrants.

settling nicely into the new season with 31 teams (limit 2 teams, public or private) with just one player not known. Early form with a female month one winner and a different one likely to claim month 2 this weekend if her boys do their stuff. Several of the players are in the FISO Euro Super League giving 5 teams their heads with massive transfers and nil budget. In this league La Dolce Vita players get a weekly Tele Towers report which they do not in Euro Super. Almost half of them are totally unknown unless they choose to reveal themselves.

Even Stephens has the bit between her teeth. A second weekly win (on the trot) gives her the month 2 nag. Settling nicely into winter quarters awaiting April, and hopefully some cash reward.

just a word after the Anfield event where one of our La Dolce Vita players THE GREAT SOPBRHENDO is a keen Liverpool fan. She is not the weeks leading scorer, that is RICH PICKINGS with 69. If he can repeat that there will be a nag ready for the big race in April.

week 16 is claimed by Even Stephens, her 3rd weekly success and worth half a horse. She also has a slight lead in month 4, worth a complete horse if she leads on 9th December. The female Great Soprahendo still has the overall lead and has not faltered......yet.
