A £12 FISO prize super league has been set up for the 2009-10 Telegraph Championship Edition game.

In brief:

- contest begins at 1500 BST on Saturday 15 August

- next post is being used to administer entry list until closing date of Wed 12 Aug

- full details and rules are in subsequent post

TFFCH FISO SL Rules

Super League contest is based on the Telegraph 2009-10 Championship Edition game:

- season begins at 1500 BST on Saturday 15 August 2009

- each FISO individual may submit a single team

- super league entry fee is £12

- ‘team view’ option will be OFF, ie: cannot see other managers' players

- two payment options are available: cheque or online bank transfer; express preference below

- deadline for fee to clear is noon, Wed 12 Aug;
three days before TFFCH game begins and five days after first Championship league match

- league password will be distributed by Private Message when funds are banked

- please join SL as soon as you receive password; transfer amnesty runs to 1500 Sat 15 Aug

- team name should include FISO ID if this isn’t easily linked to your real name

- funds will be fully redistributed as prizes at end of season in May 2010;
exact awards will be based on number of entries:
eg: one prize if there are ten or fewer managers; two for up to 20 participants, etc.
Please raise any general query via this thread (rather than PM; this reduces admin).

Second post above is being updated with list of entrants, payment status and prize details.

If interested, please add your details below in following format:
FISO ID – real name – payment option (bank transfer or cheque)

edit on 25 August for SUPER LEAGUE PRIZE DECISIONS:

Total fund = £12 fee x 16 entrants = £192.
Sum will be stored as Premium Bonds until May 2010; numbers will be posted here.
Monthly lottery returns totalling £500 or more will be split equally by all managers.
Any smaller win will be used to boost following season's SL prize fund.

Super League Awards (£):
- 100, 50, 22 to top three
- 20 to side contest winner, ie, knockout cup in second half of season.

I enjoyed the lower league games last season so will definitely give this a go - good work setting it up Sam!

Not sure what I am doing yet waiting to see what offers there are for the TFFO so will keep you informed. I have noticed there is no assist for the Championship and am not sure that is a good thing. Cheers

I find it hard to believe that assists do not count. Having checked the T&C's assists are clearly a part of the game - must be a mistake on the main page. Doubt there will be much take up on those Newcastle defenders after yesterday's performance

Practically speaking, this means:

- cheque should arrive by Fri 7 Aug post

- online transfer should be initiated before Sat 8 Aug

The gap before the season begins will be used to finalise prize splits, etc.
