where was Sam Saunders last night for Dagenham, no reported injury or evidence of suspension or not talked about in match reports?

Looks like rotation as nothing on the net. Can't see him being left out that much with his scoring record.

Saunders has a groin injury and is struggling to make Saturday's game against Accrington. Dagenham aren't really in a position to rotate

Not sure I'd bring in a replacement. I'd only want to transfer Saunders back in as son as he's fit. Not worth 2 transfers. Time to sit tight, I believe.saboo wrote:Saunders has a groin injury and is struggling to make Saturday's game against Accrington. Dagenham aren't really in a position to rotate

Re: League 1 & 2 Pub Match Day Banter 08/09 (Goals & Assists)
I've used 9 so far, which I think is quite fair. The season is 46 games long, and teams have played 14 games, which is just under 1/3. I'm desparately trying not to fiddle with my entry, and if Wycombe had managed to keep a clean sheet the other night, instead of having their game snowed off, I'd be around 400th.The Drog's Ballacks wrote:How many have you used?! BTW. Did manage to get TFF to give Mr Shearer (Wycombe keeper) an assist for Saturday's game, but only 'cos I've got him.

Defender Kerrea Gilbert, on loan from Arsenal, is also a major doubt having been ruled out of the last two matches with a hamstring strain. However he should be fit for next weekend's FA Cup first round tie against Stevenage should he fail to feature against the Pirates
CLUBCALLNigel Pearson will hand Matt Oakley a late fitness test to see if he can make Leicester's home clash against Bristol Rovers.

anyone know why TFF are only showing 5 points for Ward from last night's game - goal and assist would give him 10 in my book??!!

If you drop them a message by way of the 'Contact us', I've found them very reasonable and willing to admit that they have made mistakes. Recieved a reply and Ward is now showing as 8 points - which still must mean he was booked - even though it wasn't seemingly picked up by the Press Association?tommymooney wrote:anyone know why TFF are only showing 5 points for Ward from last night's game - goal and assist would give him 10 in my book??!!

Checked the Chesterfield site and other places and it shows only one yc to Lester then read this on same Chesterfield site:tommymooney wrote:Recieved a reply and Ward is now showing as 8 points - which still must mean he was booked - even though it wasn't seemingly picked up by the Press Association?tommymooney wrote:anyone know why TFF are only showing 5 points for Ward from last night's game - goal and assist would give him 10 in my book??!!

'A scrappy but intriguing first half was developing which was not made to run more smoothly by some seemingly inconsistent refereeing that saw Jack Lester was booked for a challenge on Garner and Ward following him into the book a little later. '

great piece of investigation Bloggie - this may also explain other points discrepancies we have seen this season. Its hard enough in the prem - so no surprises there will be some errors lower down the leagues.

In yesterdays 3-2 defeat, Sam Saunders of Dagenham and Redbridge appeared to get an assist that was not credited in todays points update, he was only awarded 2pts. Can you please confirm whether that was correct?
Dear TommyMooney, Thanks for getting in touch. Saunders' assist will be added shortly. Kind regards, Simon @ TFF HQ

Re: League 1 & 2 Pub Match Day Banter 08/09 (Goals & Assists)
Thanks for this. Completely passed me by. Always grateful for a few extra points. Nice to see that they do check these things out when you let them know. I suppose if it's only an occasional error, then it's fine, but if there are consistent errors, then it can get a bit frustrating.tommymooney wrote:Response received and points updated.tommymooney wrote:I think Sam Saunders got an assist yesterday, but not the pts credit. Now all I need is a Wycombe clean sheet tomorrow night, and I'll be happy.

no problem, not sure why I am so keen, as I am down in 5,000th in this game having had to build my L2 knowledge from almost nothing.
