C'mon FISO.

Would be a shame to fall just one team short of a full house.

I've picked a team but it will be more for weekly and monthly efforts as I won't pay sufficient attention. So not entering any season long leagues. Sorry!

Roy...

In your efforts to get this league complete, you've forgotten to amend your team.

So we eventually got there! Blockhead took Bolton at about 8.09 which although slightly after the deadline I I couldn't see that he could gain anything over anyone else: Shout now if anyone has an issue with this.

after 2 whole games Forest lead ! BLOCKHEAD's late entry means he will be docked 1 point on TSS (theo's scoring system)
I think it would be an improvement for chat /banter possibilities if more players were public rather than private; see Maldini comment about my initial Rams line-up . Not a condition, just a suggestion.

I'm sorry Roy but docking a point from a team who joined to help out and fill the league is ridiculous. He didn't gain any advantage by joining ten minutes late.

It isn't doing yourself any favours regards future competitions either.

As for your team. How did you manage to pick non playing Derby players when you had the luxury of team news?

Not quite sure how tie breaks work when teams with 0 points are already separated :? Spiny you must off lost the prize draw last night :D

15.1 In the event of a tie for any prize, preference will be given to the Manager whose team has scored the most goals during the relevant prize period (i.e. Season, Game Month, Game Week). If the result is still a tie, preference will be given to the Manager whose team has achieved the most points for Assists during the relevant prize period (i.e. Season, Game Month, Game Week), and thereafter the most points from Clean Sheets during the relevant prize period (i.e. Season, Game Month, Game Week). If there is still a tie, preference will be given to the Manager whose team has received the least points for yellow cards and red cards during the relevant prize period (i.e. Season, Game Month, Game Week). If clear positions for the prize winners still do not emerge, the tied Managers will be entered into a prize draw and the first Manager drawn at random will be awarded the prize.

Yeah I agree with this 100%, Blockhead adopted a club at the last minute to help out so penalising him would only do harm to your rep in managing leagues in my opinion.
Definitely no penalty is justifiable here

I thought that too, how as a Derby fan with the team news available did you manage to pick only 6 out of 11 Derby starters?

Bolton and Leeds are bringing week 1 to a close. The first prize offering will be after the matches weekend 3/4 September (end of month 1) The top 6 will get a mention each time. The prize scoring system is Fantasy points + Real goals scored + Real league points. Right now for example Norwich are 32 + 1 + 1 = 34. that puts them in 13th place. Leading is PNE on 57, 53+ 1 + 3, but that could change around 6.15pm.

Not a bad start for the Tigers - 4th place. Tainted by the FF equivalent of a schoolboy error though - I never checked my team for injuries and have had to waste 2 transfers moving out Kodjia and Kermogant 😡. On the plus side, one of the replacements got me a goal.

My pre-season prediction for us was to finish in a play-off place so on track so far.

as week 2 is almost upon us and the Prem gets going: will there be major changes to the Champs & Chumps table ? Aardvark is content after a 1-1 draw at Villa last week. Can Bristol City head the table by Monday ? Just the one game in week 2 but 2 for everyone in week 3. Get ready for a rioller coaster ride. ! Will PNE still be top after 4 games ?

in the real world after 4 games it is 1. Cardiff 2. Ipswich 3. Wolves 4. Forest 5. Leeds 6. QPR 7. Preston 8 Derby County.
By the Champs/Chumps score system (Fantasy points+Goals Scored+Points total) it reads.
1. Wolves. 175. (159+ 7+9)
2. Preston. 172 (163+2+7)
3. Cardiff 169 (149+8+12)
4. Sunderland 164 (154+5+5)
5. Hull City 160 (148+8+4)
6. Sheffield Wed 154 (146+3+5)
7. Millwall 151 (145+4+2)
8. Barnsley 148 (141+4+3)
Early days of course but Ipswich. Forest Leeds QPR or Derby do not look likely to win the first prize payout at the end of month 1.
