Could see a bit of a change at the top after Gretna's surprise 3-2 win.

Transfer reminder

The transfer window opened at 12:00 BST on Friday 9th of October so now is the time to give your side a real shot in the arm!

That's right, until 12:30 on the 20th you can ditch up to three players and bring in three fresh faces

Mine have worked out not to badly up until now. I brought in Diamond for Berra (Hearts have started to ship a lot of goals) and Barry Robson for McGeady (he has lost his scoring boots). I also brought in Scott McDonald for Boyd (looks like he is out of favour with Walter).

Three good transfers there i'd say.

Think i'm too far behind to really catch up and i went with fairly safe picks so it's not like i'll gain any big advantage. Just trying not to let the mini league down too much.

Good luck the rest of the way.

A funny thing happened today. I checked the Monthly Leaderboard and found that I was Top. :D When I say "I was top" you might wonder why the the leaders name is James Scott, but there is a simple explanation. Just before the start of the season I was visiting my old Uncle and we got talking about the Fantasy Football. He admiited that he knew nothing about football but he gave me money to enter two teams for him, (which I picked). I had forgotten all about them until I happened to look at the leaderboard. Bloody typical, I spend years trying to win something at this game and then this happens.!!!! Not to worry, I will be happy for Old Uncle James if he wins a Grand. (he's an OAP) He might even slip me a fiver.

Nice one mate.

Only one more round of games to hold on for. Hopefully you've got at least a couple of Celtic and Rangers players to push you over the edge.

You're in for a nervous afternoon listening to the scores come in. and even then with the ratings points you still won't know for definate if you've won or not?

I'm going to have a similar weekend biting my nails hoping for my YTM monthly team to hold on.

Good luck and hopefully we'll both get something.

Not sure my team has got the right shape to improve much. But at this stage so much can change and any team in top 100 at least could still win. Last minute movements in the transfer window could be significant.

First of all apologies to my fellow mini league players. I've been so mad for 2 weeks, its took me this long to post on this subject.

I only managed to make transfers to my 4 top teams. I then tried to change all the rest in one go and fell foul to the website crashing. I had made all my transfers 8 or more times, but when I pressed the payment button I just kept getting a blank page!!!!

I did email the sun with all my changes before deadline, but got the following reply.

"Good Afternoon Mr Christison,
We have looked into your below query and we are unable to make the below transfers you have detailed. This is because we can see that you were able to make transfers on Feb 2nd.

Although we understand that you have not made transfers to all of your teams, the transfer faction was available to you.

Kind Regards,

Darren Johnson
Dream Team"

I can understand your frustration. Previous experience made me do sun or scottish sun transfers in only a few teams at once because of the risk of crashes. Especially frustrating is the sun habit of timing you out if you are slow or distracted for some reason, then you have to start all over again.

That really is an absolute disgrace Lone Ranger.

Through no fault of your own you cant make your transfers (after youve tried 8 times).

You then email them before the dealine just to make sure and they wont accept them???????????????

I'm livid for you.

These people are an absolute disgrace. Im climbling the walls in frustration for you.

IT'S THEIR FAULT FOR CHRIST SAKE.

Clearly its their website thats a joke.

You should email them back and tell them thats its not acceptable. You cant just let these people palm you off. Its just not right.

Cheers.

Now to add insult to injury I have just checked my credit card bill and guess what, I've been charged an extra £18.00 for the transfers I wasn't allowed to make. Better get an email off to The Sun a.s.a.p.

You are not alone on this one Lone Ranger. Although I felt like you are at the moment after the first transfer window. I had 3 teams sitting in the top 100 and tried for 3 hours to get my transfers through but site kept crashing. I knew this was a problem with the English game, but have never experienced this with the Scottish one until this year. It is rediculous that a site can't cope with such a small amount of traffic. I e-mailed them too, and they told me to write to the Sun about it.

Good Luck with getting it sorted out.
