My switch to Liverpool defence didn't really work out  - very surprised that Agger isn't getting straight back into the team after return from injury, thought he was clear favourite over Skrtel. So 3 more transfers today:

Agger  Huth
Mirallas  Ramsey
Hazard  Sturridge

4 strikers in my squad now 8-) ... but 10 transfers used

I've burned my transfers over the last couple of weeks! Too many to keep up with, key buy has been Suarez, holding on to Hazard who came good, choosing Ramsey over Ozil and leaving out defenders were points could be lost have all helped over the last month.

I have to buy Suarez to stop this, he won't score anymore........

My gamble of using all my December monthly transfers early on (in order to "kick on"...in my ISO and my other 2 teams) has already spectacularly failed. I have Aguero in all 3. It's going to be an uncomfortable couple of weeks.

A few last minute changes as I've realised I'm only five points off Manager of the Week!

2 already out, having gambled on Cech not keeping a clean sheet. 1 through, the other needs a point from the last game.

This has been my worst year for a long time, and possibly my last.

Good going Mark, 6th o/a , I'm 12th and seem to be hovering around the 10th to 20th area, can't seem to break into the top 10. Probably because all the top teams are very similar.
Lack of transfers could be our downfall. I'm not getting rid of Wiltshire just yet in the hope Ramsey comes back soon.

I'm really didn't expect to still be in the top 10! But the squad I have is very consistent also I have tended not to pick defenders for away games, something I picked up on last season were I got plenty of goals but conceded even more each week.

Not been a great season for me. Maybe this decision and this type of thinking from September is a large part of the reason.

Thanks for the goals Dan, but I don't see the run lasting especially when Suarez comes back, whereas I really like Liverpool's defence and plan to add a second player from their back line for the next game.
Oh how wrong on every aspect

Hi Marke,

Good to see you top of the pile mate and that ISO's still going strong! Good luck for the run in.

(I've been competing in OFL this year for the first time in a few years (alongside my son) but didn't join ISO this time around. I abandoned my team a couple of weeks back when I was knocked out of the cup, but will be back next year cos its the comp that keeps interest going for longest over the season).

Bal
