Well he might step forward, but as he's never actually posted anything other than doing his predictions we might have a bit of a wait.

I hope to be proved wrong, because I'm not sure how it's helping the Forum if non-posters lead the competitions. Good effort though !

To be fair if someone has registered just to play the game I don't see a problem if they haven't posted about that game, I haven't contributed to the communities around any other off site games.

It's not just keeping quiet in the Goals Forum.

This was always the feared scenario for established posters/players of the pediction game on Fiso. murf/thelip used to run one than was fun, where there was a fair amount of banter and competition, but this new one has none of that at all.

The the past two years 'real' posters have won so it made little difference, but to have a complete non-poster win is rather like your team winning the tournament on the toss of a coin. Nice, but I'd rather 'know' the winner.

Goals is a nice interface that usually works ok, and it may have gained a few new posters, it's just not as good as what Fiso used to have. IMO.

I think all of the games where banter requires you to reveal something about your strategy have less of a presence on fiso.

I don't really care that the winner hasn't added their opinion elsewhere but if thats necessary next year then fair enough.

Congrats to the winner but it's a shame that three out of the top four haven't posted even once. Come on fellas, speak up Bad luck Mo and unlucky Ferg, but second ain't bad.

I don't post much in the footy foums simply because I'm not that knowledgeable and there are more folk on here that are or at least claim to be more knowledgeable. I wouldn't want anyone to ruin their team by following my misguided advice.

However, for most of the FISO minileagues on FPL or Sky or anywhere else it is deemed necessary to at least announce your presence to be allowed admission to the minileague. I think that it is perfectly acceptable for a forum website like FISO to expect contributers to contribute especially for a FISO run comp.
