World Championship Belt of Premiership Predictions 09-10

As FISO Goals has been launched with the opening of the first 2 sets, we may as well re-launch our little sidecomp for those wanting to fight it out and be world champion.

This comp, which started in 2007-08, determines the reigning World Champion with a new title bout each week.last year's thread

Our reigning Champ is derbynige and he faces flyingkillercob as his Challenger in Set 1.

Each week (set) a new challenger will take on the existing belt holder (like in boxing but more regular) with the winner taking the belt.

Each week (set) the top scorer for that set in the mini league (other than that week's two title fighters) gets the right to take on the Champion the next week.

In the event of a tie in a title fight the Champion retains his title as if he'd won

In the event of a tie at the top of the mini league (for the right to be the next challenger) we will look at the previous week's scores then the week before that etc (then last year's overall total if necessary)

To be eligible you need to be in the FISO World Champion Contenders Mini League:

League ID = 1
Password = beltin

Small Print: As this is my own private comp, I'll be reserving the right to not admit or throw out anybody who doesn't treat FISO properly and doesn't post in good spirit. As a rule of thumb this will mean you are banned if you are on my foe list so essentially they'll just be troll-free and all you good people will be absolutely fine.

I'll also (reluctantly) remove any champions/contenders if they don't enter into any banter by even acknowledging they are in a title fight. No point running this for people who don't contribute.
