That wasn't trash talk just my opinion of the author and the book.
:D

I wouldn't intentionally needle an opponent before the game so let's see what happens - might just review my predictions now.

May the best man win!

I'm willing to go either :
a)Head to Head against you in a single leg match
(no away goal advantage & ignore the 2 goals from 1st leg)
or
b) carry on as we stand with me leading with a paltry 2 goal advantage...
IF and only IF Murf permits ...

Your call. I'm easy.

Very generous of you, but its only a game, let it ride.
I am confident I have the mental strength to turn it around in the 2nd leg.

Thanks to goldenballs for the first leg scores. Second leg reverse fixtures are this weekend. Away goals will settle any draws (probably an advantage to those who were favoured by Kylie with a home draw in the low scoring first legs).

Apologies to Darbyand as I failed to predict this weeks scores due to being away.
Could swear I did them because I distinctly remember having a 6-0 and a 3-3 in there somewhere.
Good luck with the next game.

No worries, I had a couple of decent-ish weeks anyway so would have been fairly confident.

That Cardiff goal was a serious kick in the nutsack though both in real-world AND it stopped me going through the 100 barrier AND, I see, overtaking murf (unless he also had it as 1-2) and duking it out with the"big boys".

ROUND 2 RESULTS
(presented solely as aggregate scores as I have Kylie and our guest picker nagging me to get on with it as they are impatiently waiting to do the Round 3 draw)

Knulpuk 17 v Colbert 10
WilBert 8 v Spinynorman 16
murf 12 v Alchemist 8
Spencer4 11 v eagle224 17
Rookster 13 v TheTon 9
bluenosey 17 v Brightwater 10
morganb 11 v Ralfbergs 14
Surprised 10 v Shaggy365 12
the dude abides 17 v toffeelover 15
Darbyand 14 v paisleypark 4
Digsby 8 v Rob 6
Moist von Lipwig 12 v Ashers 11
goldenballs 7 v Big Bird 12
steve foster 15 v thebillfella 11
coryphaeus 11 v barrydixey 6
foxinthebox2001 5 v Mick MacPaddywack 6

So, generally 12 got you through and 11 didn't with a few exceptions notably unlucky toffelover out on 15 while Digsby got through with 8 and Mick MacPW only needing a paltry 6. No draws. No away goals. No complimicated tie breaks and certainly no penalties or replays. The joys of modern day cup footie.

ROUND 3 DRAW

As is always traditional, Kylie has drawn the home teams and, as is traditional at this time of year, we have scoured the world of reality TV to find a guest picker. In honour of I'm A Celebrity we have all decamped to some Australian bush with our balls and velvet bag to meet up with our delectable away team picker Amy Whoknowsorevencareswhathersurnameis

Darbyand v Moist von Lipwig
Rookster v Ralfbergs
Shaggy365 v Spinynorman
Knulpuk v eagle224
Digsby v murf
bluenosey v Mick MacPaddywack
the dude abides v steve foster
coryphaeus v Big Bird

Ties to be played over the next 2 weeks, home and away (to carry on the antipode theme) etc as per normal.

Current seedings/rankings
1 101 Big Bird
2 98 murf
3 97 Darbyand
4 95 bluenosey
5 93 Moist von Lipwig
5 93 Rookster
7 91 the dude abides
8 90 Spinynorman
8 90 Shaggy365
10 88 Knulpuk
11 84 Ralfbergs
12 81 eagle224
13 80 steve foster
14 78 Digsby
15 75 coryphaeus
16 74 Mick MacPaddywack

2 of the top 5 seeds are playing each other in the first drawn match whilst the other 3 are drawn against the lowest 3 seeds. A cynic could be excused for thinking that balls can get very warm when being fondled with in the Australian bush....

Not sure she has done you any favours as she pulled you out immediately after Kylie caressed my warm ball.

Good Luck :D
