They're certainly not making it easy, are they? KDB seemingly out for a little while; Salah rested. I see the other favoured route tonight has been Salah--->Mane but, as I had Robertson already, stood firm. With your track record, though, NM, I was expecting to see you'd made a couple of transfers to sort things out!

Re: FISO ISO 2020-2021
Glad I didn’t bother to start chasing points and making rash transfers on Liverpool, my last one on Lacazette has been a complete flop which is why I am wallowing outside the top 10.
This season seems at times a lottery, although Man City defenders are in force at present. I guess transfer hoarders will be relishing next few weeks and stand-alone games.

I take it you've got your usual bucket load of transfers left, ready for your traditional late surge, more important than ever this season I reckon, just glad I've got more left than all those around me
Wouldn't be hard on yourself re Laca, could easily have gone the other way, you were in good company too, as Nbbbee went the same route.

Missed changing my captain. Is it a set day each week ? I thought it was Tuesday.

Re: FISO ISO 2020-2021
The Sky gameweek runs from Friday to Thursday, so if you are looking for a set day to do your captains for any coming gameweek, Friday morning would be best.fantasyfaz wrote: ↑23 Jan 2021, 22:51 Missed changing my captain. Is it a set day each week ? I thought it was Tuesday.
In saying the above they do let you do the captains for the next week after the last game of the current gameweek, which is why I guess you thought it was Tuesday.
One thing to take into account is if any games are postponed they often reset captains , so this needs to be checked if there are any games called off.
Try not sweat it too much losing the points, we've all done it and it could have been a lot worse. With everything still to come you are still bang in it for second place

Re: FISO ISO 2020-2021
Thanks. 2nd place ? What u basing that on ? I’m way behind. Made a few mistakes this season biggest Missed a deadline to put DeBruyne as captain early in season and think it was his best score this season so playing catch up all season

100 points is nothing in this game, especially with an overhaul to come.
2nd place? Well obviously because I'm going to win it

Love your confidence. No more mistakes from me now. Maybe need to try some different strategies in the overall lol. Good luck for season. It’s tight at the top.

Well fancy that. Cancelo does a Stones, Hammers up to 4th and some cream goes sour at the top. The Biscuit bites back.
Hats off Johnners, Faz & Pugwash on captain Cancelo.

It would have been more hats off if instead of KDB Foden i'd have gone any other viable City midfielderNorthernmonkey wrote: ↑26 Jan 2021, 22:22 Well fancy that. Cancelo does a Stones, Hammers up to 4th and some cream goes sour at the top. The Biscuit bites back.

Ha ha. The number of times I’ve brought in a new player, and the original captain’s done the business. So Bamford it was. Ho hum.. still quids in. I’ll take 12 points and some Sterling form before Sheff U on Sat

Good job Cpt.
A few more days like yesterday and I'll be able to wave at you as you sail past.

Re: FISO ISO 2020-2021
Pep's rotation today putting a sizeable cat amongst the pigeons. Last time this happened to me, Salah came off the bench and all was well; need the same to happen with Sterling now, but not feeling confident. Always a risk with MAN, but I didn't see it coming today...

Re: FISO ISO 2020-2021
Planned to bring Cancelo in for Kane (who I bought in last week) this morning but got caught up in other stuff and forgot. Was kicking myself until I saw the team Still managed to captain Stones though today
It's so tight at the moment but, of course, the number of transfers left remains a mystery.

Re: FISO ISO 2020-2021
Frustrating. Mind you, I have 4 City players, of whom only 1 is playing... not expecting to stay top come the end of the weekend. (Unless I use some of my remaining 35 transfers to get me out of trouble )Aldershot Rejects wrote: ↑30 Jan 2021, 15:51 Planned to bring Cancelo in for Kane (who I bought in last week) this morning but got caught up in other stuff and forgot. I see nearly everyone has gone Salah cpt, guess I'm gonna be pretty well acquainted with the back of the sofa by the end of the afternoon

Re: FISO ISO 2020-2021
Horrid day yesterday. Blank captain and clocked the Leeds v Palace game is swapped to Mon 8th Feb, just as I’d moved on Bamford
I got accustomed to the back of the sofa on Thurs, had Robertson(c) over Salah and after Spurs scored it wasn’t a nice place to be.
