Zinchenko - what's everyone doing?

I've already got to squeeze a Leicester player into my team for Sunday, really don't want to make a mistake taking Zinchenko out if he starts.

Maybe the answer is to take him out Sunday for a Leicester def but then they play Liverpool next week.

This should be a season long move.

All teams have to play Man City and Liverpool twice a year, so the Liverpool fixture should not influence your thinking.

Completely agree. A good many managers will have had Soyuncu in particular since the overhaul.

I get what you're saying wandacatvenus but instead of doing a set and forget to a Liverpool def that i dont really fancy or Mendy that everyone says is high risk i was thinking of going to Soyuncu to give me a Sunday captain and get a few more weeks out of him as well before going to either Mendy or a Liverpool def when their batch of hard fixtures is over.

It would also save me trying to squeeze Vardy in.

Is my logic flawed playing like that?

There's nothing flawed about picking Soyuncu in my opinion. Whether or not he's the best captain choice on Sunday, who knows?

Where our logic differs is the importance of an enabler's fixtures. To me they're irrelevant, as the whole point of having someone like Soyuncu is that, barring injury or losing his place, he can just sit in your team all season long. I know from one of the threads during the international break you were put off by his fixtures immediately after the overhaul but, to me, he was a good pick regardless and going with him then would have saved you a transfer if you don't fancy Vardy.

I do want Vardy in my team, it's just hard to see which striker to drop.

Think Soyuncu makes sense ILBN. My preference would be to use the money to upgrade elsewhere as and when. For my team it'll probably be used on Otamendi at some point.

I've just noticed when looking at my team that my Man City players have a 0 for today except for Zinchenko who has a -

Yep i agree, he was absolutely dire. I did laugh when i saw he got me 6pts though as he was probably the worst player on the pitch.

Another "rest" for Zinchenko. 3 out of 4 games he's not been in the squad and the 1 game he did play he had a stinker.
